Chapter 1890

Then, Cindy walked closer to Ian and wrapped her arms around his waist, resting her face on his back.Although Cindy couldn’t hear what the person on the other end was saying, she noticed Ian’s chuckle, which sounded like a perfunctory one. For that, she believed he was perhaps not happy about what heheard.

Soon, Ian said, “I appreciate your kind offer, but I’m happy and content with my current life.” He thenturned around and wrapped his arm around Cindy, pulling her toward his embrace. After that, he lookedat her and spoke in a gentle voice. “Why are you here? I thought you said you were tired. Get somerest, babe. I’ll come to you in a short while.”

Seeing the man still having his phone to his ear, Cindy believed the person he was talking to could hearwhat they were saying. Thus, she instantly understood what he meant and acted a little more daringly, responding in a coy manner. “I’m not used to not having you by my side.”

Ian smiled and kissed Cindy. “Alright, I promise I’ll come over right away. Just wait for me, girl.”

“Alright, don’t make me wait for too long,” Cindy replied with an affirmative hum.

Ian gave a positive reply, whereupon Cindy let go of him and glimpsed his phone with a gleeful smilebefore walking away. Deep down, she no longer cared what Ian’s conversation was subsequentlyabout because her interaction with him a few moments ago was enough to upset Yulia. In fact, Cindyhad pondered a lot about her love rivalry with Yulia when they were on their way back home.

Well, Yulia may have made it clear that she won’t back down, but I’m not going to just stand by and lether have it her way, either.

Although Cindy didn’t boast about her sweet and romantic moments with Ian in front of Yulia earlier thatday, it didn’t mean that she was vulnerable to Yulia’s advances. After all, she was Ian’s actual girlfriend, which was why she wasn’t afraid of her love rival at all.

If Yulia insists on ruining my relationship, I have a thousand ways to make her upset. At least I’m theone whom Ian favors, so as long as I have his heart, I’ll be able to break hers.

A few moments later, Cindy returned to the couch and sat down, reaching for her cell phone. Althoughshe had seen and read gossip news about her and Ian on the internet countless times, she wassomehow piqued by Yulia to search for that news when she and Ian were being interviewed.

Since most of those posts were in the form of news articles, they were mostly featured with pictures ofher and Ian, who seemed like a loving couple. Reading the compliments and blessings from the medianews, Cindy finally felt better and happier as she skimmed through those photos and pleasant wishes. novelbin

Subsequently, Cindy quit reading the news and started playing her mobile game to kill boredom, tryingto relax even more. At the same time, Ian was done with his phone call as he left the balcony andapproached Cindy, who was playing her mobile game. However, it appeared that the game didn’t go inher favor, which was evident in her stern look and murmurs.

Although it would make sense to say that her teammates didn’t cooperate well in the game, Ian couldtell that she was already in a bad mood in the first place. In that instant, it immediately occurred to Ianthat Cindy’s mood swing was because he didn’t take care of the matter between him and Yulia well.

Knowing Cindy’s easy-going character, he was grateful for her righteous attitude, even though shewasn’t happy that Yulia had feelings for him. Soon, he quickly approached Cindy and hugged her in hisarms while making sure he didn’t interrupt her game. However, Cindy was too disturbed and distraught

to concentrate, which led to a humiliating defeat in the game in just a matter of minutes.

“Was it Yulia whom you were talking with over the phone?” Cindy let out a sigh and put away herphone, turning around to look at Ian.

Ian responded with an affirmative hum, directly telling the lady the truth. “Yes, the call was from herindeed. She said she went to the set earlier today to visit a friend whom she said has resources inwhich I might be interested, so she was asking me if I needed any of them.”
