After knowing Cindy’s plan, Hannah was finally relieved shortly before both of them proceeded todiscuss Ian’s filming progress. Then, Hannah’s eyes fell upon Cindy’s neck, noticing the hickeysbeneath her lace fabric. At that instant, she froze, staring at Cindy’s neck to take a closer look at thosemarks.
Meanwhile, Cindy took a while to realize what Hannah was doing, yet she didn’t cover her neck rightaway. Instead, she calmly went on to tell her she would visit Ian on set after he was done with hisfilming.
Hannah replied with an affirmative hum and took her eyes off Cindy. “Well, I suppose that’s also a goodplan since Ian is going to be occupied with his filming over there for the next few months. Until then,both of you are expected to keep in touch and discuss your schedules. When you head over there tomeet up with Ian, I’ll have the press take a few pictures of you before they publish them.”
As soon as Cindy gave an affirmative reply, their discussion was about to come to an end. Meanwhile,Aurora was waiting outside just when Hannah and Cindy stepped out of the room. At that moment,Cindy fixed her collar to cover the marks on her neck, complaining deep down about Ian for his unusualexcitement the night before.
Was Ian high on drugs or something? Soon, Hannah said goodbye to Cindy and Aurora because she still had many other businesses to takecare of. Thus, the two ladies left the company. Cindy took a cab to the set where Ian was working onhis filming, while Aurora went home right away. Since the set wasn’t that far away, Cindy could see thedriver’s car upon stepping out of the cab, seeing the driver smoking beside his car door in a carefreemanner.
Cindy walked closer to him and asked, “I guess he is about to be done, right?”
As the driver turned around and looked at Cindy with a stunned and complicated expression, sheimmediately noticed the man’s subtle reaction and asked, “What’s wrong? What happened?”
The driver then threw his cigarette onto the ground and stepped on it. “It’s Yulia. She is here.”
“Did you just say Yulia came here?” Cindy paused in a trance for a while and asked.
“Yeah, she’s been here for a while now, but she came when Ian was in the middle of his filming, so Idoubt she came to see him.” The driver nodded.
Despite what the driver said, Cindy didn’t feel comfortable knowing Yulia was also there, even thoughshe might not be looking for Ian. Nonetheless, she replied with an affirmative hum and turned around,making her way toward the set. In the meantime, the driver didn’t stop her, only letting out a sigh whilemurmuring to himself. “That lady must be up to something.”
Witnessing Cindy’s silence, the driver could tell that there was something, as it seemed to him that
Yulia didn’t bother to hide her questionable intention.
This lady may have gotten a little on edge when Ian doesn’t reply to her, so it looks like she is trying tomake things harder than they look here. But doesn’t she know Ian has a girlfriend?
Ew, this is disgusting! Is she really not afraid of the consequences just because she thinks she hassomeone else powerful behind her back?
