Cindy exhaled. “Please inform us if anything like this happens again. Do not attempt to do this kind ofthing alone.”

Sure, Leah had made a mistake by coming alone this time, but it would have been terrible for Aurora ifLeah had brought her subordinates along.

Aurora then nodded. “I didn’t think too much about it because she sounded friendly in the phone calland I thought that she just wanted to have a chat.”

She never expected the gentle woman on the phone to be so aggressive after seeing her to the pointthat the woman wanted to pick a fight before they could even talk.

Cindy didn’t make any comments and left Aurora’s room with the first-aid kit.

After preparing breakfast, she went to call Ian.

As he wasn’t fully awake yet, his eyes were still closed when he sat up from his bed.

Pursing her lips, Cindy hesitated for a moment before deciding that it was better not to inform himabout what had happened.

Since the fight was already over, it was meaningless to inform Ian about it as it would only make himmore worried, so she merely told him to have breakfast.

On the other hand, when Ian got out of bed, he received a call from Sean informing that Bryce wouldbe cremated before his burial tomorrow.

Ian still had to return to the Morgan Residence after his meal as they still had to send Bryce’s body tothe undertaker for cremation tomorrow.

Although he wasn’t required to show up to handle things, it was more appropriate for him to go.

Then, he pondered for a moment before he asked Cindy to head along with him.

The media firms were already speculating as to why she didn’t show up during the funeral, so it wouldbe better for everyone if she went for the cremation and burial.

On the other hand, Aurora spoke up before Ian could say anything, “I don’t think I’m going since themedia firms will find some way to write about me for clout even if I went, so I can’t be botheredanymore.”

It was ironic how everyone had blamed Aurora when things happened back then, but pitied her forbeing cheated and even stood up for her after the Morgan Family’s reputation went down the drain.

After Ian took Cindy to the Morgan Residence, she started to check whether Leah was around sincelearning how Leah had fought with Aurora.
