A short while later, Ian heard a commotion right outside the door. It was mostly Leah shouting, tellingsomeone to lay their hands off her.
The ladies stood up and quickly went to the door so they could see what was happening. However, thepeephole did not allow the three of them to watch at the same time. Eventually, Aurora got the spot,and when she looked outside, she kept clicking her tongue in delight.
Cindy was watching her, and Aurora’s look of joy was tickling the curiosity within her heart. Ah, I wantto know what’s happening out there too.
Ian stood beside her and wrapped his arm around her. She pushed him away in embarrassment andshot him a warning glare. Ian smiled, and he gave her a look that said, “She’s not looking at us”. Evenso, Cindy didn’t want to be too bold, so she pinched his waist and bared her teeth at him. Instead ofbacking off, Ian held her chin and gave her a kiss.
Cindy’s eyes bulged. She tried to push him away, but Ian chuckled in delight.
Aurora had no idea about Cindy and Ian making out right beside her. Her attention was fully and solelyon the event that was taking place right outside the door.
Leah was going all out. The men who came tried to take her away, but she tussled with them and eventore her clothes off so she could accuse them of molesting her.

Ian didn’t care what was happening outside, for he trusted that Logan’s men could handle the situation
by themselves. Leah was just a middle-aged woman and her children weren’t exactly strong, soLogan’s group of burly men should be able to handle the troublemakers. But honestly, it’s reallyfreaking noisy out there. I want to have some peace and quiet. He wrapped his hand around Cindy’swaist and dragged her to the bedroom.
Cindy was understandably shocked, for she thought Ian was going to do something lewd to her. Sheflailed her arms around, trying to struggle free from his grasp. However, men were born stronger thanwomen in terms of physical strength, and Cindy didn’t want to be loud, so Ian successfully took herback to the room without her struggling too much.
He closed the door and pinned her against it.
Cindy shot him a glare. “What are you doing? Open the door. Aurora’s going to take this the wrong wayif she sees us.”
Ian didn’t care about it that much, and he went in for the kiss. “What do you mean ‘take it the wrongway’? This is no misunderstanding, make no mistake about it.”
Cindy pushed him again. “No, no, no! Get off, you.”
Ian chuckled. “Don’t be afraid. My mom’s attention is grabbed by what’s happening outside. It’s aruckus out there, and it might be so for a while, so relax.”
Relax? Relax, my foot! Cindy could not relax even after Ian had given his assurance. They had goneinto the bedroom in broad daylight and closed the door. Even if Aurora didn’t find that suspicious, Cindyherself thought it was embarrassing.
Ian didn’t think that much about it. He just pushed her up against the door and started kissing her. Shetried to struggle, but it was nothing to Ian.
Aurora didn’t realize Ian and Cindy were gone, just like what Ian had said. She was still watching theshow outside, and it made her chuckle like a child, for it was becoming a comedy skit. She neverexpected the woman Bryce fell for would turn out to be such an unreasonable wench. Leah had takenher clothes off and accused the men of molesting her. She was wearing nothing but a bra inside, andher body was getting out of shape despite her desperate attempt to keep it in shape. Age always tookits toll after all. She should have just kept her clothes on. My eyes are burning!
