It was only after a while that Cindy walked out of the kitchen to notice a defensive Aurora still staring atIan.

At this point, he was slightly exasperated. “Why are you looking at me like this? I really didn’t doanything wrong. Now, you’re making me more apprehensive to treat Cindy better.”

Aurora merely let out a snort without uttering a word as she scrutinized him.

When they were eating, Ian subconsciously shot occasional glances at Cindy, making her unable toignore the dominance in his eyes.

In the beginning, she would return a smile whenever their gazes met. However, after that, she lackedthe courage to look at him under his powerful stare.

When the meal was finally over, Cindy tidied the dining table and planned to take a seat on the couch.

However, Ian went over and grabbed her hand. “Let’s take a walk. The weather is lovely after a rain.”

Not only had the sun emerged, the air was indeed quite fresh.

Cindy turned to look at Aurora, who quickly waved them away. “I’m not going there anymore. What ifyou guys ditch me outside like what happened earlier? You guys should just go ahead. I was using myphone just now, so I’m very tired and I want to sleep soon.”

Truth be told, Ian had no intention to bring Aurora along from the beginning.

There were few opportunities for them to go on a date. Now that they didn’t need to work, which was arare occurrence, with no one following them, he wanted to make full use of this opportunity to spendsome quality time with Cindy.

He hummed in agreement. “Take a good rest then. We’re off.”

Both of them were still wearing household clothes when they went out.

Now that the weather had improved, more people went outdoors for a walk. A few old couples wereholding onto each other as they slowly walked around on the pavements around the neighborhood.

When she saw that, Cindy was envious and raised her hand to hold Ian’s arms. “How good.”

Ian raised his other hand to caress her head. “It’s quite nice indeed.”

Both of them walked all the way until they reached a tree. Since there wasn’t anyone around them, hecouldn’t help himself to turn and hug her.

To Cindy, Ian looked like a young boy who had fallen in love for the first time. Everything that he did intheir relationship showed his impatience, but she liked it.

She hugged his waist and happily commented, “To be honest, you are behaving differently today. It’s nowonder that Mrs. Morgan said something’s wrong.”

Ian also knew that his behavior was out of the norm. More importantly, once they had talked it out with

each other, there was a change in his attitude, which naturally caused a change in his behavior.

He continuously stroked the back of Cindy’s head. “Don’t worry about it. She’ll get used to it after awhile.”

Cindy released her grip on his waist and raised her head to look at him. “Are you going to tell thecompany the truth about us?”

After thinking about it, Ian replied, “I don’t think it’s a big deal. Since we are already known as a coupleto the public, it doesn’t hurt for us to be a little bit closer.”

However, he was slightly worried as the company would take more things into consideration. If thenews that both of them had really fallen in love reached the company, there was a possibility of theminterfering with the relationship.

Ian was not willing to allow the company to interfere with his relationship.

Even though it wasn’t long since he started working in the industry, he had seen quite a lot. Manycelebrities had started off their relationship well, but because of the interference from their companies,most of their relationships did not end well.

He wanted to protect this relationship.

Cindy also had similar thoughts. If the company knows that we are together for real, I wonder what Ms.Jones’ attitude would be. She has always trusted me so much. However, I still involved myself with Ianin the end.

As she thought about it, she felt slightly guilty.

Hence, she said, “In that case, let’s keep it a secret. I don’t want too many people to know.”
