Seeing that the situation had become more favorable, Naomi felt relieved. She glanced at the timebefore she rose to her full height. “Alright, then. I’ll make a move if there’s nothing else. Jeez, this girlreally makes me worry.”
Cindy chuckled and she rose as well to hug Naomi’s arm. “I’m fine. I’ve always been quite fortunate.Rest assured and don’t be worried about me.”
Naomi sighed. “Silly girl, how are you going to defeat others if you join the entertainment circle?”

“Okay, I understand.” Cindy nodded meekly. “I will be more alert in the future.”
Yet, Naomi sighed. “I know that although you are promising me without any hesitation, it’ll be difficult foryou to do it.”

After casting a glance at the neighborhood, Naomi said, “Alright. It’s getting dark. You should headback. Don’t let the mother and son talk about you behind your back.” She then added, “Speaking ofwhich, in regards to the netizen who claimed that he wanted to search for the security footage, youhave to pay more attention to this matter. Keep watch on whether the security footage is found andcheck if the footage conforms to what Ian has said. You have to be careful in case Mrs. Morgan haslied to help him.”
“Roger that.” Cindy hummed in agreement. “I understand.”
At this moment, a cab happened to pass by the gates and she raised her hand to hail the cab. AfterNaomi entered the vehicle, Cindy spoke through the car window, “Give me a call when you arrive at thehotel.”
Naomi merely waved in response before the cab sped off. It was only when the cab had disappearedfrom Cindy’s sight that her smile disappeared.
I barely had a few calm, peaceful days before all the mess is back again. Before this, I thought that Ihad a comfortable time around Ian, but now that I look at it, there are still its ups and downs. She thenhad a long, deep sigh. I wish that I can become rich as soon as possible so that I can resign from myjob and have a carefree life, she mumbled inwardly before heading back a moment later.
When Cindy arrived home, Aurora had already left and Ian wasn’t in the living room. He probably wasin his room since the door was shut.
Cindy surveyed the area and failed to find something to do, so she quickly went to wash up before shereturned to her room. As there hadn’t been any movement outside the door the entire time, shereckoned that Ian hadn’t left his room. Since she was unable to fall asleep, she took her phone outagain.
