Chapter 626

Sierra's face was as pale as a ghost. Her light body took a few steps back as if she had lost her

balance.

Sammy also realized that something was wrong. Her face was pale and she looked at Sierra with

confusion. It was like she was questioning the relationship between Hendrix and I.

I knew that Hendrix was angry. But after all, this was his company. I didn't want to be petty. Based on

what I knew about Hendrix, Sierra would not be able to stay in the entertainment industry in the future.

He simply said, "I'm fine. Let's go, what do you want to eat later?"

He relaxed and held my hand, sighing, "You are so kind, but you are my woman. You don't have to give

in to anyone in any situation."

His dark eyes fell on Sammy. They were cold and bloodthirsty. His deep voice sounded murderous,

"What goes around comes around! You should hit her back!"

As soon as those words were said, Sammy's legs went limp. All of a sudden, she knelt on the ground.

Looking at the both of us, her voice trembled as she apologized, "Mr. Roberts, I was at fault. It wasn't

on purpose. I'll apologize to her. I beg you, please let me apologize to her."

Hendrix didn't say anything. He only looked at her coldly. His voice was ruthless, "Do you think

everything will be resolved after just saying sorry?"

Sammy was stunned and her face paled. She wiped away her tears, looked over at me and spoke, "I

didn't mean to hit you. You can hit me back as much as you want. Mr. Roberts, please. I beg of you,

leave Sierra's future out of this."

Hendrix was silent, but he was looking at me. The bloodthirst on his face dissipated. "Are you afraid of

your hands hurting?"

He held my hand, motioning for me to stretch out my palm flat and then glared at Sammy.

Sammy knew that she couldn't refuse. She got up from the ground and walked toward me.

Before I could react, I heard a slap. It wasn't exactly me who slapped her, but it was Hendrix who pulled

my hand to slap her. I didn't use much strength and might have even withdrawn my hand before I even

touched her face.

However, the hard slap just now had caused the corner of Sammy's mouth to bleed. Hendrix was thenovelbin

one who had put in all his strength.

For a moment, there was a chill hidden in the air, but Hendrix's anger still hadn't faded.

He looked at Sammy and said coldly, 'Td better not see you again in the future!"

His eyes that were as cold as ice then glared at Sierra. Although he was silent, anyone could see

Hendrix's deep hatred for her.

I knew that he was being like this because I was hurt, but it honestly wasn't their fault.

I immediately took his arm, looking up at him. "Are you finished with work? I'm a little hungry already!"

After Hendrix and I left the studio, I couldn't help but sigh. This time, the entire Roberts Group was

going to go out of hand.

He curled his lips into a smile, his fingers landing gently on my cheek. "No, she doesn't even compare

to you!"
