Chapter 451

She appeared to be on the verge of breaking down. She was a flurry of emotions as she continued

tugging at me; her heart heavy with grievance, pain, and resentment.

I looked at her indifferently as I said coldly, "Miss Burton, you'd better stop asking why, and start looking

into what causality means."

With Andrea acting like this, it was likely that Valerie had been investigated. Aaron's ability to handle

affairs was extraordinary!

She sneered, looking as if she wanted to tear me apart, "What happened to you is called karma. You

snatched Hendrix away, and it was not the right time for the child to be born in the first place. He didn't

ask to be born, so he deserved to die early."

I pursed my lips, a fire of rage burning within me. I was quickly enveloped in a wave of negative

emotions. I looked at her despicable face, and was silent for a while. Then, I suddenly smiled. "If that's

the case, it seems that your mother doesn't deserve to continue living in this world either. You probably

don't know what will happen to her next. How about I share it with you?"

I stared into her anger-filled eyes, and felt that I was going to grow colder and colder. "Next, your

mother is going to get locked up by the police for bribery, murder and illegal transactions. Then, all

assets under her name will be auctioned off and pledged to the public. Even if Pedro manages to get

her out of prison unhurt, she will have nothing left when the time comes."

At that point, I let out a sinister and terrifying laugh. "Do you think that a woman like her, who's used to

walking on cloud nine, will be able to handle suddenly losing everything she boasts about and returning

to square one? Oh right, I also heard that the youngest daughter of the Moore family, Freya, has

returned. So, you and your mother's situation doesn't look too good now. If you really lose everything,

it's hard to imagine what kind of situation you'll be in."

Staring at Andrea's ashen face, I shrugged casually, "If you don't know already, I'm kind of looking

forward to seeing what will happen to you and your mother."

"Arianna, you b*tch!" Merely cursing would not help diminish the fury in her heart. She then raised her

hand to slap me in the face, but fortunately, my reflex was quick enough and I managed to stop her.

She starred daggers into me, her eyes dark and full of hatred, rage, and the urge to murder me.

I let go, looked at her, and said with a smile, "You don't have to look at me like that. I know you hate

me, but I can't help it. In the end, everything you care about is in my hands. So, Andrea, I'm sorry."

She laughed out of rage and looked at me. She said coldly, "Do you really think I care about what you

get? There's no way I can be with Hendrix, but he still hasn't been able to let go of me. Once he knew

that something had happened to my mother, he immediately arranged a way out for me. Even if I don't

have the support of the Moore Family, he has found a place for me abroad. He has even got my basic

life necessities covered. Arianna, you're going to live in my shadow after all. If I can't live well, then

neither can you."

I was a little dazed by that. How innovative of Hendrix.

When I came to my senses and saw that Andrea was trying to provoke me, she said unscrupulously,

"He's your husband, but he will eventually hate you one day. Time will tell, and when the time comes,

no matter what I become, as long as I need him, he would still be there for me. Arianna, you may think

that you've won, but in actual fact, you've suffered a crushing defeat."

I shrugged and said blandly, "Then I congratulate you both in advance. I don't really care what he does

to me in the future, it doesn't matter to me. We have a long way to go, don't you think? Who knows

what will happen in the coming days?"

Her breathing was getting increasingly heavy, as if she could not process or accept how calm and

collected I was. She raised her hand to try to hit me again, but after a pause, she held herself back.

"Tell me, what are you going to do next? Arianna, since we've already turned against each other,

there's no need for you to hide anything anymore."

Amused by this, I said, with a small smile on my face, "Why do I have to be honest even if we've turnednovelbin

against each other? I've been a bad person since I was a child. I'm not only vindictive and spiteful, but

when I seek revenge, I especially favor seeing people get tortured. I'm not a fan of letting people die so

easily. It's only amusing when you get to torment a person, and see them slowly losing everything they

once had. Their helplessness as they scour to save themselves in their ruins is what I take pleasure in

seeing. So, is there really a point in talking about it?"
