Chapter 1547

Seeing how miserable she was, I was at a loss for words. Perhaps Sebastian really loved her. Butthen, why did he say those words to me?

If he used to care about Naomi, then why did he stop loving her?

Seeing how Naomi was holding herself in the corner, I didn't know how to comfort her. I felt sorry forher. I took a deep breath and reached out my hand. "Naomi, I know that our relationship might havehad a lot of ups and downs, and sometimes I act too self-righteous. I always end up in troublebecause of this. However, in Sebastian's case, I cannot put myself in his shoes. He is my enemy. Iknow I don't have the right to ask you to stand by my side, but he had to face justice for all thecrimes he had committed!"

"The heart in Wendy's chest had been sold to her father by Sebastian. There were a ton of ways tosave her life, but Sebastian used the cruelest way, and it cost someone else's life. Therefore,Wendy had been living in guilt all this time. He also kidnapped a ton of villagers. They did not evenhave the chance to see the world for themselves, and Sebastian kidnapped them. Naomi, I'vewitnessed all this with my own eyes, so you have to make the right choice. I know you truly lovehim, but Sebastian had committed all those crimes."

She stared at me, and she was tearing up. "What do you want me to do? What can I do now? Hewon't give me the chance to retaliate against him. Look at all these wild animals, they are all soundasleep now, but when they are awake and starving, we are going to become their food."

I knew that too. Looking at her, I pursed my lips and kept silent for a while. Then I said, "So, wemust unite and find a way to leave this place together. Since you found this room, it means that youare familiar with Sebastian's villa, right? Do you know the way out of here?"

She was stupefied. She remained silent for a moment and then nodded. "What do you want me todo?"

"Hendrix is coming here, but the walls surrounding this place are way too high. He can't just enterthis place rashly. The only way for us to escape is to find Tobias and get to Hendrix!"

She hesitated for a moment and then said, "I've lived here for some time now, but I'm not certain ifI'm completely familiar with this place. However, I might know of a way out."

Then, she suddenly looked at me. "But, Arianna, if you want to escape, you have to put your life onthe line. Are you willing to do that?"

I was taken aback. Before I could wrap my head around what she said, I saw her glancing at thesleeping dogs.novelbin

Instantly, I understood what she meant. Suddenly, I broke out in cold sweat. I nodded and looked ather. "I am willing to put my life on the line!"

She nodded and handed me a fruit knife. "Try your best to keep yourself safe!"

Then she walked to the cage and unlocked the door. Although the doors were open, all the animalsinside were still fast asleep.

Naomi stood by the cage and took a deep breath. Then she raised the baton in her hand andbrought it down toward the sleeping dog.
