Chapter 1413

"Not yet. I think well need to wait until noon. However, the doctor came yesterday and told us thatthey couldn't find information about Abby's identity. The hospital needs to key in her information intotheir system before they can arrange for the operation to be done. The doctor can't operate on her ifshe doesn't have any information. Contact her parents and have them send us her information. Ifpossible, we will send someone over to pick them up and let them sign the operation papers inperson," Valerie said in a tired voice.

I paused and said, "Mom, Abby doesn't have any identification or birth certificate. Her parents hadseven or eight children, and only one of them was registered at birth. It will take a long time tocomplete the procedures. If we want to register her identity, Anne's operation will have to bedelayed. I didn't consider this in the first place, so I'm afraid you have to look after her in themeantime while we settle these issues."

She was obviously stunned, "How could she not have any registration information? What kind ofparents are they? Why did they give birth to seven or eight kids but didn't register their births? Howis

Abby going to live her life in the future? You must think of a way. If there is really no other way, youcan ask Sheridan to take her back home, give her family some money and ask them to settle herbirth registration."

I nodded and said, "Okay." Then, I hung up the phone.novelbin

Abby's identification was not the only problem we had to take care of. I couldn't tell Valerie thedetails now, so I could only use this excuse to delay the operation for the time being. I had to findout more about Sebastian first.

Even if Anne needed to do the operation, everything had to be done legally. If the operation wasdone illegally, it would cause a lot of problems in the future.

After hanging up the phone, I took a taxi to the address that Bobbie sent me. It was a factorybuilding located in the suburbs.

When I saw this desolate place, I froze in shock. It didn't look like a hospital at all. It looked morelike an abandoned factory!

There was an elderly man in the guard house at the factory entrance. Just as I was about to walk upto him to confirm the address, Bobbie called me.

Once the phone was connected, he just said, "Just come in. Don't ask the elderly man. He is senileand doesn't know anything."

I froze for a moment when I saw the elderly man smiling at me. I smiled back and went into thefactory. According to what Bobbie had told me on the phone, there was a two-story building. I foundthe building after walking around for a while. Bobbie asked me to wait for him downstairs.

Five minutes later, he came downstairs and opened the iron door of the building. He was wearing afloral shirt with a leather jacket draped on the outside. However, his round belly was still visible. Helooked around when he saw me. After confirming that I was alone, he raised his eyebrows slightlyand said in surprise, "Miss Reid, I thought that you would at least bring a person along with you. Ididn't expect you to come alone."

I smiled and said, "I just came to check out the hospital and the equipment. Why do I have to bringsomeone along with me? I'm not here to for a fight."

He chuckled and then said, "Let's go, the doctors and the equipment are upstairs. You can go andcheck them out yourself. You rich people are always so cautious."

Following behind him, I smiled faintly and pursed my lips, "Well, I don't have a choice because she'smy daughter. Although I want to save her, I won't put her life in danger."

His laughter echoed in the stairwell, but he did not answer me. I followed him upstairs to the secondfloor. After passing through another iron door, I entered an office, roughly fifty square meters in size,in which stood several doctors in white coats. I quickly counted and realized that there were a totalof five doctors.
