Chapter 1301

Yana looked very calm. She stared at him and said, "It's been a few months now!" These few wordswere as light as a greeting.

Aaron suddenly burst into laughter and looked at her with a very sardonic look. "Why?"

"No reason, Aaron. Well all be nothing more than strangers eventually." Yana spoke with suchnonchalance. It was as if she was greeting us.

Aaron lowered his head. He seemed to be grinning, but it felt ridiculous. After a while, he couldn'tcontrol his emotions and walked up to the man.

Before the man could react, he raised his fist and punched him. He was too angry, to the extent thathe couldn't summon up enough strength, so his blows landed lightly.

I thought that Yana would at least try to stop him or scream for mercy, but she didn't do anything. She just stood by, watching the two men fight.

Hendrix pulled me behind him to protect me. He watched everything unfold, a look of indifference onhis face.

Afraid that Aaron was about to kill the man, I frowned and opened my mouth to stop him, but thenYana spoke.

"Aaron, let him go. If you are angry, you can lash out at me. It's not his fault."

Aaron stopped and looked back at her. He slowly walked to Yana, with fury burning in his eyes andsaid with some difficulty, "What the hell do you want?"

Aaron loved Yana. Ever since a long time ago, I knew that he was an extremely dark person. Yanawas like his safe harbor. Perhaps in his heart, he had always firmly believed that Yana would never

leave or betray him. She would always wait for him. As long as he turned back, she would be there.novelbin

But he had forgotten that people change. Yana had waited for him for too long. She was a woman,a woman who needed to be taken care of and spoilt with love and affection. If a person was ignoredand treated indifferently for a long time, then that person would leave, sooner or later.

Yana looked at him and ignored the sadness in his eyes. She took a deep breath and said, "Carneyis from the Reid family. I won't take him away. The villa and the car are both under your name. I'llgive them back to you. As for all the jewelry you bought me, I will keep them, as a reward for beingwith you all these years."

She took a deep breath and smiled bitterly. "There's nothing else I have to say. Except for our child,we don't seem to share anything else, so the legal process should be easily taken care of. You canbe rest assured that if you don't have time and energy to take care of Carney, I can do so. But youare still in charge of his living expenses. As for the rest, there's nothing else left."

It seemed ironic that a relationship could end this way, with nothing more than a few sentences. There was nothing else to be said. Even goodbyes sounded absurd.

Aaron suppressed his anger and seemed to calm down. He looked at her and said, "Let's go backand talk!"

He didn't wait for Yana's reply and got into the car right away. Hendrix and I remained motionless.

Yana watched his car leave indifferently. Then she helped the man up from the ground as if nothinghad happened. She looked at him and asked, "Are you okay?"

The man gently patted her hand and comforted her, "I'm okay, it doesn't hurt!"

I looked at them and didn't know what to say. I was silent for a long time, then left without sayinganother word.
