Chapter 1084

Linda was also a little drunk from the alcohol. She took her arm and sighed, "You wouldn'tunderstand. In fact, it's best for you to stay like this, having your freedom, doing whatever you wantwithout having to worry about anything. If you want a boyfriend, just go get one. If you don't wantone, just do whatever you like on your own. It's wonderful!"

"What's so good about it?" Naomi complained, "Let me ask you then, Linda, what's the meaning inus getting a man? Is it so that he could give us the care we want and also to satisfy our sexualneeds?"

Linda nodded, failing to notice that Naomi was trying to get some information from her.

"Yes, to satisfy needs, each other's needs!" Naomi spoke. She sighed again, "But, what the f*ck didI get in return? That man you all call Mr. Milton isn't good at it at all, and he won't even touch me!"

At the mention, Naomi seemed to feel hurt. She then held Linda and asked, "Linda, do you thinkthat he doesn't like me at all or he hates me? That's why he won't even touch me at all, right?"

I didn't expect Naomi to think like that, and I couldn't help but admire her.

Linda, of course, instantly continued, "It's probably not because Mr. Milton doesn't want you, but It isbecause of his past trauma. For so many years, he refused to let any woman approach him or touchhim because he couldn't get over the incident. Alas, I thought that he had fallen in love with you.Everything between you both seemed normal, but I didn't expect such a thing to happen!"

Naomi calmed down and looked at her, asking, "What did Sebastian go through in the past?"

Linda was probably a little drunk, and she fell asleep directly on the table.

Naomi looked at me and stayed quiet, but what she meant was obvious enough.

"Well, it's getting late. I'll send you both back!" I said and got up to help Linda.

I planned to send Linda back originally, but Sebastian came to Ocean Premium Restaurant to pickNaomi up. He then looked at me and said, "Come with us!"

I helped Linda get into the car, and thought that they could drop me off on the way, so I simplynodded.

However, just as I was about to get into the car from the other side, a black Bentley suddenlystopped in front of me.

I was more than familiar with that car. I couldn't help but squint my eyes, looking carefully towardsthe car window.

Through the black- tinted glass, I couldn't see through anything very clearly. It seemed that theperson in the car knew that, and he directly rolled down the window, revealing a face that I was veryfamiliar with.

It was Irvin Granger!

Shouldn't he be in Jarold city? Why was he in front of me? Why would I meet him at such a place? My first reaction was to leave as soon as I finished greeting him.novelbin

However, before I could react, he opened the door, got out of the car and walked towards me.

It had been a while since the last time I met him. It wasn't actually that long of a time, but it wasn'tthat short either. However, just as I was thinking about that, I couldn't help but feel as if it had beencenturies since.

I stood right there and watched him walk towards my side. Perhaps because it had been a long timesince I last saw him and I had gotten estranged from him, he stood a little far away from me.

There was a street lamp behind him. Under the bright light, his handsome face was covered in ashadow, and I could see the tiredness on his face.

We hadn't seen each other for a long time, so I had no idea how he was. I just said lightly, "Mr.Granger, what a coincidence it is to see you here!"

Irvin's hands were in his pockets, and his eyes fell on me. He said with a smile, "This isn't acoincidence. I have been searching for you."

I wasn't surprised or frightened. Instead, I just looked at him calmly, and I even felt a little amusedas I said, "Thank you for your concern then, Mr. Granger!"

He looked at me with his fiery eyes, "It seems that you're not that happy to see me."
