Chapter 231

"Billie!"

"Dad... Dad, you're here at last. I'm so scared, it hurts so much… Dad, please help me, I'mterrified!"novelbin

Billie was sprawled on the floor, tears streaming down her face. When she caught sight of Quim, hersobs grew louder, filled with the same desperate hope a traveler in the desert feels upon finding anoasis. She pleaded with him, her voice thick with the hope of survival.

Quim's heart twisted at the sight of his daughter, so battered and bruised. A red-hot anger flaredwithin him, making him want to tear Liam apart. That fool Liam hurt his little girl, his treasure, whomhe had always handled with the utmost care. His blood boiled at the thought.

He was a man of stature. His peers greeted him with nods and respect. Then, Liam had the gall tostrike his daughter, to strike at his very honor!

Quim's eyes blazed with fury as he locked his gaze on Liam, who stood smugly in the center of theroom. "Bring it on! Show this punk what happens when you mess with my daughter!" he thundered.

At his command, a swarm of toughs, armed to the teeth, charged at Liam.

However, Liam was unfazed. His gaze turned steely, and an icy power rolled off him. With swift, brutal efficiency, he dispatched the first two attackers, sending them flying into their comrades, whocollapsed in a heap, lifeless.

The room fell silent, the remaining thugs frozen in fear. Even Quim was taken aback by Liam'ssudden show of force. He had not expected such ferocity from someone he had written off. However, as his shock gave way to a renewed surge of anger, he pointed at Liam.

"Get him! I want him down! Finish him off!"

Liam had just pulled a move that left the roomful of toughs on edge, none of them willing to jump thegun. As they hesitated, the corridor was suddenly filled with the sound of more footsteps, chaoticand fast approaching.

What followed was an epic showdown. Quim's goons found themselves encircled by a new crew, slick in suits and armed with steel rods, ready for a fight.

The new guys had the upper hand in both strength and numbers, and they kept pouring in,unstoppable.

Quim's crew fought back hard. However, those new arrivals were on another level. One of them, without a second thought, swung his rod at a resistor's head, busting it open and sending himcrashing to the ground, out cold.

"Drop your weapons and hit the floor!"

"Drop 'em, damn it! You think you can fight back? This is what happens to anyone who tries!"

The bald ringleader waved his bloody rod and kicked the lifeless body aside, sending a clearmessage. Quim's men were quick to give up, not a single one daring to challenge them.

Downstairs, Quim's black sedans were a wreck, courtesy of the BMWs that had barreled in. Theguys from the BMWs moved like a bolt of lightning, knocking Quim's first-floor guards down fast andtaking over the hotel with swift precision.
