"And if you even think about hurting Samara, Celena's going to pay for it too!"
Billie quivered with fear as she watched Liam close in, her panic growing as she stumbledbackward. Those pampered heiresses, used to their leisurely days of shopping and sipping coffee,were out of their depth facing someone as menacing as Liam, who did not hesitate to throwpunches.
The rest of the crowd, latching onto Billie's words, saw a glimmer of hope. They turned to Liam andyelled, "Think about what you're doing, Liam! Can you and Celena handle the fallout if you messwith us?"
"Yeah, Billie's dad is no joke. Cross him, and you're toast! You've got a daughter, remember? Messwith us, and we'll make sure she regrets it!"
"And don't forget about Celena, that lowlife, and your little wild child. Just so you know, Liam, you'rejust the guy who married into the Stone family. Cross us, and don't expect the Stones to bail youout!"

Liam's face twisted into a scowl as he heard them use Celena and Jovie to get to him. Anger blazedin his eyes, a deadly chill emanating from him that seemed to suck the warmth out of the room.Everyone felt a chilling shiver run down their spine, their bodies trembling without control.
Celena and Jovie were everything to Liam. To use them as leverage was like daring to snatch atiger's tooth, a death wish.
Liam's eyes flashed dangerously as he growled, "You'll regret every single thing you've done toCelena. I'll make sure of it, twice over."
"Don't you dare come closer! My dad will destroy you!"
Samara was petrified, staring at Liam's looming figure, her body quaking, every instinct screamingat her to bolt.
However, before she could move, Liam's hand cracked across her face, his voice thundering, "Youhad the gall to hurt Celena, you'll pay with your life!"
The force of his anger sent Samara sprawling to the floor, a pained grunt escaping her as sheclutched her swelling cheek, blood spilling from her lips.
Before Samara knew what was happening, Liam's foot came crashing down on the hand that hadjust ripped at Celena's dress. Her hand twisted under his weight, and a sickening crack filled the air.Samara's eyes widened in shock, and she let out a piercing scream.
"Ah! My hand! You monster, let me go... Liam, you'll regret this! My dad is on his way, and he'llmake sure you pay. You'll be fish food at the bottom of the river, and you'll have to watch Celenasuffer for what you've done! I swear you'll…!"
Liam's eyes blazed with rage as he heard her threats. He stomped down on her stomach and thengrabbed a wine bottle from the floor. Without a second thought, he forced the bottle between herlips and tilted her chin, making her drink. The red wine disappeared down her throat as shestruggled helplessly.
"If your mouth's that dirty, it's time for a thorough cleaning. You mess with my wife, you pay theprice," Liam snarled.
