Chapter 121

The Stones who entered the cottage with Reginald felt unhappy after Reginald scolded them. However, they did not dare to refute it. They simply left the cottage as they were told and waited.

After they left, Reginald turned to Liam with a smile and said, "Liam, hurry up and go accept theinvitations. It's Mr. Lynch's order. If you don't go, Mr. Lynch will be mad, and our family can't afford tobear that."

Liam ignored him. Instead, he looked at Celena, who was feeling uneasy. He asked, "Darling, doyou think I should accept the invitations?"

Celena was still dazed. Liam continued, "Darling, we already have our invitation anyway. We haveno use of the extras. How about we don't accept them? The extras are just a waste after all."

Everyone outside the cottage became anxious when they heard that. Reginald felt the same. Heimmediately smiled and said, "How could it be a waste? There are so many of us in the Stonefamily! Celena, say something!“

Celena did not understand what had happened. She learned from what Reginald said that someonehad delivered the invitations, and he wanted Liam to receive them.

Only then did she look at Liam in shock and ask, "Liam, did you really have someone send a truckfull of invitations over?"

Liam shrugged. He looked at her gently and said, "When have I ever lied to you, silly?"

Celena felt touched. She felt warm and fuzzy inside, which seemed to be telling her that she hadnot made the wrong choice. Liam was going to shine.

Then, she thought of the group of people from the Stone family who were ridiculing and humiliatingthem earlier.

She immediately turned to look at them pridefully. They were hanging their heads at that moment.Celena crossed her arms in front of her and said arrogantly, "Did you see that? Liam is not a loser! My man has never lied to me. He really had someone send a truck full of invitations over."

Liam felt that Celena's proud expression, especially how confidently smug she was, lookedextremely adorable. He was very tempted to pat her head.

In contrast to Celena and Liam's calmness, Reginald and the other Stone family were incrediblyanxious. Reginald was on edge. Lieutenant Andrews was still waiting at the door. Things certainlywould not end well for them if they delayed any further.

Reginald quickly said to Celena, "I've never begged you before, Celena. I'm begging you now. Let'stalk about it later, alright? Hurry up and go accept the invitations. The invitations are what matters."

Upon hearing that, Celena turned to look at Liam and nodded.

Liam immediately got her message. He picked up Jovie, held Celena's hand, and walked out of thecottage, passing all of the Stones.

With Liam in the forefront, the Stones followed him and went toward the entrance to accept theinvitations.

After Lieutenant Andrews' mission was completed, he saluted Liam and said, "We've fulfilled ourmission, Mr. Cole. We'll be taking our leave. Goodbye."

Then, he quickly got into the car with the four soldiers without saying anything else.

It was after Reginald and the others saw the military truck leaving that they let out a sigh of relief.

Reginald was covered in cold sweat. He was already exhausted from walking back and forth. Oncehe relaxed, his knees buckled, and he staggered a little.novelbin

Just as everyone thought that it was over, Liam suddenly said in a freezing tone, "Have you guysforgotten something? Who was it who said he was going to ask for my forgiveness on his knees if Ican get the invitations?"

Liam's gaze was incredibly frosty. Everyone present hung their heads and said nothing.
