Logan stepped out with his phone. After just a few strides, he spotted his parents approaching from theopposite direction.
"Logan!"
"Dad, Mom," Logan greeted them.
Upon receiving Logan's message, his parents hurried to the hospital. For years, Logan had beenengrossed in work, avoiding romantic entanglements. His parents had resigned themselves to the ideathat he might remain a dedicated workaholic destined for a single life.

"What's the situation with your fiancee?" they asked.
Logan solemnly replied, "Dad, Mom, have a seat. Let me talk to you first. Don't startle her." -

Logan's parents sat, and he brought two cups of coffee from the vending machine.

Tamara didn't worry about this matter. She took Paul and walked toward the hospital room.
