Chapter 813

Bradley gazed at Kevin, easily recognizing the open hostility in Kevin’s expression. Kevin had actuallyclaimed that he loved Esther, but how could he possibly love her?

“Kevin, I don’t love Esther,” Bradley asserted, persisting in his denial.

“Whether you love her or not is your business,” Kevin retorted, his cold gaze fixed on Bradley, who wasnow keenly interested in the conversation.

“Arrange a full-body check-up for him and schedule an appointment with a psychologist. He needs totalk to someone.

“Only cowards avoid facing their own lives.

“Only cowards choose to escape.”

Bradley’s expression darkened as he clenched his fists tightly, his veins visible on the back of hishands.

“Kevin, I’ll say it again. I don’t love Esther.”

Kevin sneered and added, “It’s probably for the best. If I were Esther, I’d be repelled to know you lovedme.”

In fact, Kevin had long suspected that an unacknowledged love drove Bradley’s obsession andpossessiveness toward Esther. Bradley seemed oblivious to the fact that he had fallen for her whileattempting to keep her by his side.

“Kevin!” Bradley’s gaze turned fierce as he regarded Kevin as his adversary. “If you hadn’t intruded intomy secret room, Esther wouldn’t have been in danger.”

Kevin extended his hands for Bradley to see. “If my hands are stained with responsibility for her death, why do you think you’re exempt?

“If you hadn’t kept Esther captive, she might have left with Felix long ago. Under Xara’s care, Felixmight have already regained his speaking ability.”

Kevin truly sympathized with Felix. They had refrained from telling Felix the tragic news of Esther’sdeath, concerned about its impact on him.

Those without a blood connection to Felix were all thinking of his well-being. Meanwhile, Bradley, hisbiological father, had never considered the consequences of his actions on Felix.

“Kevin!” Bradley’s brows shot up, his eyes filled with madness. “I’m Felix’s biological father.”

Kevin raised an eyebrow. “Are you implying that you love Felix more? Is your way of loving him byimprisoning his mother, subjecting her to suffering, and driving her to her demise? Oh, wait, she’salready gone, her ashes scattered into the sea. You’ll never see Esther again.”

Bradley’s heart convulsed at the mention of Esther’s ashes being scattered into the sea, and his bodyfelt as though it were reversing the flow of blood. His eyes revealed a murderous intent.

“Who gave you the right to scatter her ashes into the sea?!”

Kevin taunted, “Should we have left them for you? What would you have done with Esther’s ashes?Would you have wanted to consume them and become one with her?”novelbin

Kevin’s words left Bradley staggering as if all his strength had drained away.

The doctor rushed to support Bradley and told Kevin, “Dr. Slade, Mr. Warner can’t handle any morestress!”

“It’s nothing!” Kevin rolled his eyes gracefully. He couldn’t comprehend Bradley’s behavior.
