Chapter 683

Jasper found Bradley’s arrogance and self-assured demeanor remarkably ironic. “Can you lock her upfor life? Do you believe that by keeping her captive, she’ll fall in love with you again?”

Bradley’s grip tightened slightly.

Jasper displayed no fear but instead continued to provoke, “Bradley, if you have the courage, end metoday. If not, I’ll persist! Someday, I’ll find her whereabouts.”

Bradley hadn’t anticipated Jasper daring to taunt him like this in person. He clutched Jasper’s collareven tighter.

Jasper remained unfazed, only escalating the provocation.

Mandy interjected, coldly reminding him while placing her hand on Bradley’s arm, “Bradley, surveillancecameras cover this place. If you harm Mr. Searle, you won’t escape unscathed either.”

Bradley instantly released his grip. “Jasper, I’m warning you for the last time. Esther is my wife.”

Jasper focused on Bradley’s now snow-dusted shoes and grinned eerily. “She isn’t.”

Jasper lifted his head, locking eyes with Bradley’s crimson ones. “Esther isn’t your wife. She belongs toherself the right to shape her own life. She has the freedom to decide if she still loves you.

“Bradley, don’t you realize how pitiful you are? You have no friends, no loved ones, no family, andeventually, nothing.”

With a final mocking statement, Jasper turned and strolled away into the falling snow.

Mandy stood in the garden and watched Jasper’s retreating figure, feeling a pang of envy. There wasindeed a man in this world who loved Esther with pure, selfless devotion—the kind of love that women

yearned for.

Mandy shivered from the cold. “Bradley, it’s chilly outside. Let’s head indoors.”

Bradley sauntered back into the villa, the indoor heating so high that the snow on his hair instantlymelted. With his damp white hair, he appeared somewhat like a mysterious, ailing protagonist fromnovels.

Mandy poured him a cup of coffee. “Bradley, please make yourself comfortable.”

Bradley seated himself on the sofa, seemingly indifferent to the seals on the furniture.

At that moment, Liora approached, still sobbing. “Mandy, help me.”

Mandy rubbed her temples, sensing a headache coming on. “Mom, learn if you don’t know. Our dayswill only get tougher. You need to adapt gradually.”

Liora stood there, resembling a child who had erred and didn’t know what to do.novelbin

Mandy didn’t want to break character in front of Bradley, so she said, “Bradley, please rest here. I’llassist my mom.”

Bradley raised an indifferent eyebrow.

Mandy ascended the stairs and patiently demonstrated each step to Liora.

When Liora still couldn’t grasp it, Mandy reluctantly took out her tablet and found a video by aprofessional organizer for Liora to follow. At present, she dearly wished she could shed this deadweight.

Mandy’s phone rang.

Seeing the caller ID, Mandy grabbed her phone and entered her bathroom. “Hello.”

“Have you located Esther?”
