Chapter 677

Bradley had Esther’s delicate neck in a tight grip as she weakly uttered, “I didn’t.”

Felix was her own flesh and blood. How could she even entertain the thought of using him as leverageagainst Bradley?

“Esther Quill!” The killing intent in Bradley’s deep gaze surrounded Esther like an invisible trap. “Youbetter not! Otherwise…”

When Bradley applied a bit more pressure, Esther felt her neck might snap. She weakly pounded hisarm.

Finally, Bradley released her, his gaze icy, while she looked as though she was drowning in despair. “Ihaven’t settled the score for what happened to Felix last time.”

As Bradley mentioned Felix’s accident, Esther was reminded of the Primus Mansion undergroundgarage. Although some time had passed, the memories made her heart race. “Bradley, aren’t youafraid Felix will find out how you treat me?”

Bradley looked down at the powerless Esther, raising an indifferent eyebrow. “What can he do? He’sjust a child. What harm could he possibly inflict on me?”

Indeed, Felix was just a child. But could Esther watch their father-son relationship sour?

Esther clutched her silk nightgown, tilting her face upward. The soft light accentuated her allure as ifshe were a beauty begging to be adored. “Bradley, why do you hate me so much?”

Bradley’s handsome face remained shrouded in darkness, his true emotions hidden. His lips pressedinto a thin line while his eyes on Esther seemed as if they could spew fire any moment. “Don’t youknow?”

Esther shook her head helplessly. She genuinely didn’t understand why Bradley harbored suchanimosity.novelbin

Initially, it was because he believed she had harmed Thomas. The truth had been revealed, and shewas innocent. So why did Bradley still despise her?

“Heh!” Bradley sneered, resentful that she didn’t comprehend. “You can ponder that at your leisure.”

Suddenly, Esther erupted with a mix of indignation and fierceness in her eyes. “Bradley, I don’t know!

“Why do you hate me? Why, as a father, can you use your daughters to threaten me? Why have youbecome so detestable and terrifying when you used to be so gracious?”

Locked in the crystal coffin by Bradley, she had been plagued by questions. Why?

Why did Bradley harbor such intense hatred? How could he use his own daughters to threaten herwithout remorse? Weren’t her daughters also his children? Why was he so heartless?

Bradley slowly crouched down and gripped the back of Esther’s head, forcing her to meet his gaze.

“Esther, you have destroyed my life and still don’t see your wrongdoing?”

A crystalline tear slid down Esther’s cheek as she laughed bitterly. “How have I ruined you? It wasn’tme who caused you to lose Grandpa Thomas. It was Liliane!”
