Chapter 594

Chapter 594

Jasper frowned slightly, disbelief filling his voice. “So, I’ve been blocked?”

“Bradley’s jealousy got the best of him.” Kevin empathized, fully understanding. Who could tolerateanother man doting on his wife like a backup quarterback, ready to step in if things went awry?

“Is there something you should tell her?”

“Let Esther know I’ve got a meeting with Ms. Pendleton tomorrow at 10:00 am. She’ll understand.”

Intrigued, Kevin prodded further, “What’s the meeting about?”

“It’s best if you don’t know.”

With a resigned shrug, Kevin thought, ‘Alright, keep your secrets. I didn’t really want to know anyway.’

Kevin ended the call and rapped on the hospital room door.

Bradley glanced at Esther warningly as she struggled with her blanket. He opened the door and asked,“What else?”

“Bradley, what do you both want for dinner?”

“Anything,” Bradley replied indifferently.

Kevin retreated, saying, “In that case, you can order your own takeout.”

He had genuinely wanted to do something nice for Bradley and Esther. But if Bradley was ungrateful, what more could he do?

“Esther, what would you like to eat?”

Bradley forcefully ushered Kevin out of the room before he could pass on Jasper’s message.Determined not to be outmaneuvered again, Kevin paused and texted Esther.

Kevin: [Tomorrow, 10:00 am., meeting with Ms. Pendleton.]

Bradley snatched Esther’s phone when it buzzed and read the text. “Who’s Ms. Pendleton?”

Esther rolled her eyes and replied weakly, “Mandy Pendleton.”

“You won’t be going.”

Bradley fired off a text to Kevin.

[She won’t make it.]

Confused, Kevin responded: [???]novelbin

Esther’s body heated up in the room, and she noticed Bradley’s mood remained steady. She spokesoftly. “Brad, can I uncover myself? I’m really hot…”

“No,” he replied coldly.

A flush spread across Esther’s face. Her blood felt like it was nearing its boiling point. “Brad, I think Ihave a fever.”

Bradley cupped her chin with a sly smirk and teased, “Esther, are you trying to… seduce… me? Verywell… We’ll do it your way then!”

“Brad, I’m really overheated.” Her body felt like it was on fire, and her spirit trembled like leaves caughtin an autumn breeze.

In one swift motion, Bradley pulled the blanket away. His imposing figure cast a shadow over Esther. His kisses rained down on her delicate neck like the first drops of spring rain.

As she felt the cool touch of Bradley’s soft lips, she couldn’t help but reach out and grip his head tightly. It was urgent, pleading, and hungry for more… of those icy kisses.
