room.
She searched for something she could use to cut or break the plastic zip ties but found nothing.Holding Felix, who remained unconscious, she felt a deep sense of worry and unease. Outside theoperating room, the two kidnappers sat together, enjoying beer and snacks while watching the livebroadcast of Bradley and Liliane’s wedding.

Holding Felix tightly, Esther mustered the strength to approach the door. In a gentle voice, she made arequest, “I see you’re watching Bradley Warner’s wedding broadcast. Can I take a
look?”
The two men in black exchanged glances, and one of them replied angrily, “Why should you be allowedto watch? We’ve already shown you enough kindness. Don’t push your luck. Leave
us alone…”
Esther’s tone turned cold as she replied, “Bradley Warner is my husband, and I am his lawful wife. Tellme, don’t I have the right to watch?”
