Chapter 500

Chapter 500 Ambiguous Behavior

“Auntie.” Estie carefully tugged at the hem of her clothes.

Rosalie looked down at the little girl, only to see that she was looking at her pitifully with her big eyeswere as if they could talk and were asking her why she was ignoring her.

Seeing the little guy’s gaze, Rosalie’s heart became increasingly confused, and he could only show avery reluctant smile to the little guy.

To the side, Byron saw Rosalie’s reluctant appearance and his brows twitched. He said in a calm voice,“I will trouble Miss Jacobs to pay more attention to the stage play during this time. This is the children’sfirst time performing on stage. I hope you will not bring your personal feelings into the performance.”

Hearing this, Rosalie’s expression stiffened slightly, she suppressed the strangeness in her heart andnodded indifferently, ” I will.”

The man’s gaze swept across her face.

Rosalie pursed her thin lips lightly. Her expression was indifferent, making it clear that she did not wantto talk to him.

Byron looked down at Estie.

The little girl took the hint and leaned closer to Rosalie. “Auntie, are you still busy later?”

Rosalie still could not ignore the little girl. After a few seconds of silence, she responded helplessly, “I’mstill busy, but since I’m going to be participating in the anniversary celebration, I’ll spare a few days toaccompany you all for a good rehearsal.”

Hearing this, the little girl’s eyes lit up and excitement filled her face.

Rosalie saw the change in the little girl’s expression and her heart softened as did her gaze.

Estie said some things to Rosalie from time to time while they were on the way to the classroom andRosalie also replied concisely.

They made their way to the classroom and the moment they entered; Rosalie felt differing gazes fallingon her from all directions.

Seeing this, Rosalie slowed down somewhat confused. She even lowered her gaze to confirm to theboys. “I haven’t come into the wrong class, right?”

The boys shook their heads, “This is our class.”

Hearing this, Rosalie nodded slightly, then looked up at the expressions of the people around her whilefeeling puzzled for a while.

It was not the first time she and these parents had met, and she wondered why they were looking ather like this.

It was like… she stole something from them.

“Miss Jacobs, long time no see.” Just when she tried to ignore their gazes, a female voice suddenlysounded in her ears.

Rosalie was slightly stunned, she looked up and toward the person and found her somewhat familiar, she must be one of the parents from the last tree-planting event.

If memory served her right, they had not spoken much during the last activity.novelbin

The woman carefully glanced at the person behind her and leaned closer to her.

Rosalie took a step back subconsciously, but her back bumped into a solid chest.

A big hand had placed itself on her waist the next second helping her stabilize herself.

For a moment, the entire classroom fell silent.

The gazes surrounding Rosalie were even more scorching.

Rosalie was stunned for a moment. After coming to her senses, she quickly left the man’s arms andtook two steps to the boys’ side without raising her head, she really just wanted to hide somewhere far,far away from Byron.

She had only been thinking about avoiding Byron and did not expect the man to behave soambiguously in front of everyone…

Rosalie was so confused that she failed to notice the woman coming toward her again.

“It seems that Miss Jacobs has a good relationship with President Lawrence.” The woman consideredRosalie with an ambiguous gaze.
