Chapter 477 Can You Give Me A Piece?

Seeing the child leave, the children’s eyes started tearing in unison.

Rosalie lowered her head silently to hide her sadness.

Xander’s voice sounded in her ears. “There are many such cases. We can only do our best to helpthem. It’s okay to be sad, but don’t be sad for too long.”

Rosalie naturally understood this truth, but it was still somewhat unacceptable when she was facedwith it.

What was more, the child just now was also so sensible.

Xander did not say much and just added, “There are still children waiting.”

After saying that, he returned to his place.

Rosalie took a few deep breaths and looked down at the children beside her leg.

The children raised their heads one by one, staring at her eagerly. Their eyes were all red, and theirinitial fear was showing in their eyes again. They were worried about the child just now and were afraidthat they would be next.

Seeing that the children were afraid, Rosalie suppressed the sadness in his heart, she squatted downand looked into their eyes directly while comforting them gently. “Don’t be afraid, children. You’ll allgrow up healthy with US here. He’ll be back soon.”

After saying that, Rosalie could not bear to look into their eyes anymore and straightened back up in ahurry, she patted the hospital bed calmly. “Come on. Who’s next?”

A long time after she said that, someone lay down on the bed.

Rosalie lowered her gaze and treated the child with a heavy heart.

Fortunately, the following diagnosis and treatment process showed that the symptoms of the childrenon her side were relatively mild. They could be cured within the scope of her ability.

However, there were quite a few of the children with more severe symptoms on the other threeindividuals’ sides. People were coming in and out of the door to their room from time to time.

Everyone’s mood was inevitably a little heavy after a few times.

Lucius watched the children leave one by one, and his expression became solemn.

He was an old and experienced holistic medicine doctor, after all. Although Lucius was more prone tojealousy and was a little arrogant, he still possessed the benevolence of a doctor.

Noon came, and the canteen in the orphanage prepared lunch for everyone to eat.

Only then did Rosalie and the others stop working with a heavy heart. They soothed the remainingchildren and brought them to the cafeteria.

It might be because the children who came out of their room had said something because almost theentire orphanage was watching Rosalie carefully while they were having their meals. The rest of thedoctors did not hide their curiosity either.

Aware of the gazes coming from all directions, Rosalie could not help but feel a little like she was sittingon pins and needles.

“Miss.” A little child cautiously walked over to Rosalie with their plate.

Hearing their childlike voice, Rosalie’s attention shifted from those gazes as she looked at the child witha smile. “What’s the matter?”

The child stared at her for a while before asking her carefully, ” They said your candy is delicious. Canyou give me one?”novelbin

Hearing this, Rosalie was stunned for a few seconds before she came to her senses, she smiled andgrabbed a few candies from her bag before stuffing them into the child’s pocket. “I’ll give you a fewdifferent flavors. If you like them, I’ll bring some again next time.”

The child squinted their eyes a little shyly and gave the chicken drumstick on their dinner plate toRosalie. They said in a childlike voice, “Thank you, Miss, for your hard work. This is my favoritedrumstick. I’ll give it to you. ”

Hearing the child’s words all of a sudden, Rosalie was stunned for a moment, she then came back toher senses and smiled at the child, her emotions complicated. “Thankyou, baby.”

The child smiled shyly before turning around and walking away.
