Chapter 449 Don’t Forget To Pick Up
As soon as Rosalie walked into the entrance of the research institute, she saw Yves standing at theentrance.
The man was lost in his thoughts as he leaned against the wall staring blankly. He did not even see hercoming in.
Rosalie went over and called out to him curiously, ” Dr. Graham, what’s on your mind?”
Yves jolted slightly. It was obvious that he was startled. His eyebrows twitched, then he came back tohis senses and straightened up to face her. “You guys finished chatting so soon?”
Rosalie smiled and nodded. “Leon also plans to participate in the Lancer family’s free clinic in two days.We had a brief chat and agreed to go together.”
Yves’ eyes flashed with loneliness when he heard that.
When he saw Rosalie and Leon standing side by side that noon, Yves lost his appetite during lunch, sohe simply took two bites before driving back and waiting for Rosalie at the door.
As he waited for her, he unconsciously thought of the gap between himself and Rosalie.
Now that he knew that Rosalie was going to participate in the free clinic with Leon, he felt even fartheraway from Rosalie.

Yves forced a smile. “It’s alright. It doesn’t matter whether you or I go. We’d both be representing theresearch institute.”
After saying that, he did not wait for Rosalie to respond. He hurriedly said something to her beforegoing back to the office by himself.
Rosalie was puzzled when she watched Yves hurriedly turn his back, but she did not think much aboutit and returned to the office with her bag.
Later in the afternoon, when they met in the experimental area, Yves was obviously less chatty thanbefore. He also seemed absent-minded during the experiment.

The two of them talked and left the institute together.
Rosalie glanced at the time. School time should not be over yet.
If she hurried over to pick up the two little boys, she might make it in time.
