Chapter 427

Chapter 4271 Am A Loser If I Lie To You

Although Rosalie kept telling Mary that she was alright, Mary still felt extremely worried. She examinedher body once thoroughly.

Finally, she confirmed that Rosalie was only feeling like this due to the shock she experienced. Shewould recover after getting enough rest.

Rosalie did not want the children to worry about her. She lay down in her room for a while, got up, andwent downstairs.

Lisa had just served dinner on the dining table and was about to go upstairs to ask Rosalie to comedown for dinner when she saw her making her way downstairs.

“How do you feel now? Can you eat all of this? If you don’t have the appetite, I’ll make some oats foryou.” Lisa looked at Rosalie’s complexion in concern.

Rosalie’s complexion has visibly improved after resting for a while, she shook her head at Lisacomfortingly and said, “I won’t trouble you. I don’t have much of an appetite, so I’ll just have some ofthe food here.”

After speaking, she sat down by the dining table.

The children were worried about their mommy. They sat down on the sofa in the living room seriously.

They greeted Rosalie as soon as they saw her walking downstairs. They flanked her sides and staredat her.

Rosalie smiled and reached out to caress the children’s heads after meeting their gazes. “Don’t worry,I’ll feel better after getting some sleep.”

The children withdrew their gazes obediently. There were still upset expressions on their faces andworried gazes in their eyes.novelbin

They had grown up by their mommy’s side. They knew that their mommy often traveled for work, sothey clearly knew that their mommy never got airsick.

However, she was feeling unwell after flying this time around… They wondered what had happened onthe way.

Rosalie raised her gaze and looked at Mary pleadingly when she noticed how unhappy the childrenwere.

She could not tell the children the truth. However, she did not have the energy to come up with anotherexcuse either.

Mary sensed her plea for help and glanced at the children. She then cleared her throat nonchalantlyand said, “I’ve examined your mommy. She’s alright. She just needs more rest. You believe in mywords, right?”

The children nodded hesitantly after hearing what she said.

Rosalie felt extremely comforted when she saw how much the children cared about her. She smiledand said, “I’ll fetch you guys to the kindergarten tomorrow.”

The children could not help but feel stunned. They then looked at Rosalie in surprise. “Really?”

Mommy had evidently been trying to avoid Estie during this period of time. Besides, she was extremelybusy with work. After mommy told Estie that they would be going abroad, she had never fetched themto the kindergarten ever again.

Lucian and Nox did not mind. After all, they could see Mommy at home every day.

However, they could not bear to see the disappointment on Estie’s face every day.

After Mommy told them that she would be fetching them to the kindergarten, Lucian and Nox could nothelp but feel happy for Estie.

Besides, if Mommy could fetch them to the kindergarten, that meant that Mommy had recovered!

Rosalie smiled and nodded after seeing the excited expressions on their faces. “I’m a loser if I’m lyingto you guys.”

The children smiled. They then lowered their heads obediently and started eating.

After dinner, Mary stayed a little longer. After the children fell asleep, she took care of Rosalie andmade sure she went to bed before getting up and heading off.

“If you still feel uncomfortable tomorrow, remember to call me. I’ll fetch both of them,” Mary remindedher worriedly before leaving.

Rosalie chuckled and said, “I got it. I’ve troubled you for the past two days.”

Mary glared at Rosalie and said, “I’m Lucian and Nox’s godmother. It’s my obligation to look after them. You should recover as soon as possible.”

Rosalie smiled and nodded, she then watched as Mary left.
