Chapter 426

Chapter 426 Afraid of Making The Same Mistakes

Rosalie frowned and called out to Lucian when she saw him standing in front of Byron. “Lucian, let’s goback”

Lucian nodded obediently when he heard what Rosalie said. He then withdrew his gaze from Byron, turned around, and followed Rosalie back into the house.

Mary helped her best friend into the house cautiously. Her gaze was filled with worry. “Did you reallyget airsick? You’ve never gotten airsick in the past.”

They had known each other for many years, but this was the first time she had seen Rosalie soseverely airsick

Rosalie thought about the children, who were next to her. She did not want to frighten them, so shenodded slightly and said, “I wasn’t feeling well today.”

After hearing what she said, Mary did not ask any other questions. She simply helped her into the villa.

Byron cast a dark gaze at their silhouettes from the villa’s entrance.

“Miss Jacobs, Mr. Lawrence is still outside.” Lisa was preparing dinner when she saw them walking intothe villa. She greeted them in a hurry and immediately caught sight of Byron, who was still standing inthe courtyard.

Rosalie frowned. She then spoke to Lisa without turning around, “close the door.”

She did not want to have anything to do with Byron anymore.

Lisa did not know what had happened between them. She always thought that they were pretty close toeach other. Every time she saw them together, it always looked like Byron took good care of Rosalie.

She even thought that both of them would get together.

Given Rosalie’s cold attitude toward Byron now, she assumed that both of them had been in anargument.novelbin

Lisa cast an apologetic glance at Byron, who was standing in the courtyard. She then closed the doorof the villa.

Byron finally withdrew his gaze when he saw the door slowly closing. He returned to his car and toldLuther to fetch him back to Lawrence Manor.

At this moment, Estie should already be at home.

Lisa helped Mary bring Rosalie to her room in the villa. The children brought Rosalie a cup of hot waterand stayed by the side of her bed. Their gazes were fixed on Rosalie.

Rosalie smiled at the children comfortingly and said, “ I’m alright. I’ll feel better after resting for a while. You guys should go out to play.”

The children exchanged gazes with each other. They were still worried.

Mary said, “I’ll look after your mommy. You guys should go out.”

She then gestured for Lisa to bring them out.

The children then left the room unwillingly with Lisa.

Mary’s expression grew sterner when she saw the door of the bedroom closing. She looked at Rosalieand said, “Tell me. What happened? You were attending a gala last night, but you’re in such a stateright now. Also, how did Byron Lawrence end up being together with you?”

Mary started interrogating Rosalie before she could rest. Rosalie felt rather exasperated. “I met himdue to a coincidence. There was a small incident on our flight back. I was shocked. That’s why I’mfeeling unwell right now. Don’t tell Lucian and Nox. I don’t want them to worry.”

Mary stared at her for some time. The curiosity in her gaze slowly turned into pity. “I got it. I know whatto do, but you and Byron Lawrence…”

She had witnessed everything unfolding between Rosalie and Byron from the start.

Six years ago, Rosalie left the country due to Byron’s heartlessness.

However, now that she was back, Byron’s attitude toward her had completely changed. He oftenappeared next to Rosalie. The positive change in his attitude toward her was evident as well.

Mary did not understand the change in Byron’s attitude. She was afraid that Rosalie would make thesame mistakes.
