Chapter 395

Chapter 395 Raising Suspicion

Andrius spent a good portion of his might before he managed to lift the unpleasant atmosphere that hecaused just now before discussing with Rosalie about the pharmaceutical industry in Coast City at thepresent day.

Rosalie also conversed with him patiently.

Byron, who was beside him, did not speak again. He just drank his wine without saying a word.

Seeing that they had finished most of the wine in the bottle, Andrius hurriedly ended the dinner. “It’sgetting late. Let’s just end things here today. I’ll have the medicinal materials businesses decide thetime as soon as possible.”

Rosalie did not want to stay any longer either, so she unequivocally agreed.

The three of them went downstairs side by side. Rosalie was about to pay the tab but was stopped byAndrius.

“I was just kidding the last time. How can I allow you to treat me? If my grandfather finds out about this,he’ll lecture me again.”

Saying that, Andrius quickly went over to settle the bill. He then turned around and walked to Byron’sside before raising a brow at him earnestly.

Byron frowned but said nothing.

Hearing him bring the old master up and seeing that money was really nothing to Andrius, Rosaliedecided not to be so courteous.

It was almost nine o’clock when they came out of the restaurant.

Although they were acquaintances, Rosalie had still drunk a lot of wine at the dinner table and was alittle intoxicated. The sweeping nighttime breeze served to wake her up quite a bit.

Andrius’s voice sounded in her ears. “How are you going back? Would you like me to send you back?”

Rosalie had driven by herself. As she had been drinking, she naturally could not drive back.

Hearing this, Rosalie looked up and glanced at the traffic. “Thank you for your kindness, Young MasterQuirke, but the Quirke household is not along the way to mine. I won’t bother you. I’ll just take a taxi bymyself.”

After saying that, she took off and walked to the side of the road.

Andrius glanced at the person beside him.novelbin

Byron frowned and looked at Rosalie’s slender back in the night. His gaze darkened.

“It happens to be evening rush hour now. I don’t know how long it’ll take before you get a taxi, rd bettergive you a ride. Besides, the car is the one running, not US.” Andrius quickly stopped Rosalie.

Rosalie paused slightly. Andrius had just done her such a big favor. It would be inappropriate if shewere to shirk this trivial matter as well.

Seeing her hesitation, Andrius added with a smile, ” There’s no need to be so courteous with me. Theold master knows that I went out to have dinner with you and specifically informed me to take goodcare of you.

Rosalie could not refuse him anymore, so she turned around and walked over while smiling politely athim.

“Thank you for the trouble, then.”

Andrius waved his hands repeatedly. “It’s no trouble. If you hadn’t agreed to let me send you back, thatwould’ve been trouble!”

Saying that, he looked at Byron beside him meaningfully.

Rosalie did not catch what he meant in between the lines. She just thought he was talking about oldMaster Quirke and smiled without answering.

The three of them walked to the parking lot side by side.

When they got to the parking lot, Rosalie realized that Byron had been with them the entire way andfound it a little strange.

When they got to the car, she saw that Byron’s car was parked next to Andrius’ car. Suspicion arose inher heart.

Andrius’ so-called coincidental meeting just now was actually an excuse. Both of them had practicallycome together!

This speculation flashed through Rosalie’s heart.

On second thought, there did not seem to be a need for Andrius to tell this lie.

This was considering he was unaware of her relationship with Byron. Hence, him doing all this wouldbe superfluous.

Rosalie did not think about it anymore, she just followed Andrius into the car.
