Chapter 1990

Their whole family had just arrived at the manor when Luther called to report, “President Lawrence, evidence of Daniel Lundgren’s corruption has been gathered and delivered to the relevantdepartments. It won’t be long before he would be fired!”

When dealing with someone like that, there was no point in letting him off because Byron would neverwant to see his face again.

Byron got off the car after parking the car and carried both sons into the house.

Estie was in Rosalie’s arms and when Melody saw this, she mumbled, “You’re already such bigchildren and yet you’re still in your parent’s arms.”

Benedict, however, immediately noticed Lucian and Nox’s knees were wounded. He immediately wentto them and checked their wounds. “What happened? Did you fall?”

“They’re fine, Dad. I’ve helped them clean their wounds. It will heal in two days, minimum!” Rosaliereplied and put Estie down.

The little girl immediately went to check the wounds on her two older brothers and noticed somethingas she said with delight, “Mommy, that medicine works really well. It has already started scabbing!”

Melody realized that their father was carrying them because they were hurt. She quickly went to themto check their wounds as well.

After making sure they were fine, the anxious looks on Benedict and Melody’s faces disappeared.

“Lucian, Nox, you were hurt on the knee and the wound might be more difficult to heal. You have tomove about less and don’t let your wound come in touch with water!” Rosalie reminded them oncemore and both boys nodded obediently.

Not long after dinner, Andrius suddenly drove to their house with Mary alongside him.

This surprised Byron and Rosalie.

“You… What are you…” Rosalie looked at Andrius, then at Rosalie, and she noticed something.

Both of them were dressed quite impeccably today.novelbin

Andrius was in casual wear and looked quite different from his stoic manner. He looked elegant andmature.

As for Mary, she was wearing a dress that accentuated her curves and showcased her charm.

Even Byron could not help praising Andrius. “Just look at the way you’re dressed today. You look quitea bit like me when

I was younger!”

“…” All three of them looked at each other.

How old did Byron think he was? Why was he speaking like an old man?!

Rosalie’s next question immediately got both of them looking embarrassed.

“Were you two on a date today?”

Andrius suddenly panicked. He had just sat down when he stood up again uncomfortably. He snuck aglance at Mary.

Mary acted quite nervous as well, as if a secret of hers just got exposed. Her face turned scarletimmediately and she glared fiercely at Rosalie.

“No, no, we’re not…” Both of them spoke at almost the same time. They were quite quick to deny this.

Byron sighed deep in his heart. Those two were too obvious!

A smile twinkled in Rosalie’s eyes as she watched both of them looking shy and nervous. This wasquite fun.

“I was just buying Andrius a meal to thank him for his help at the hospital the last time!” Mary was stillbusy explaining herself while Andrius remained quiet.

“Buddy, sister-in-law, we came here because we got our hands on a few rare medicinal materials frompurchasing supplies in Northwest. Sister-in-law is pregnant now and this will help with her nutrition!”

Andrius explained their trip here and Mary nodded in agreement.

‘This is too kind of you, Andrius. You seem to be going through a big change recently. Did somethinghappen to you?” Rosalie was curious about this.

Since Andrius returned to his post for the second time, it felt like his actions and mannerism had gonethrough a series of changes, as if fate had determined for him to enhance himself as a whole.

Byron maintained a calm demeanor but his ears perked up in anticipation of Andrius’ answer.
