Melody and Byron sat in the living room, waiting for Chloe's arrival.
Both mother and son were relatively silent.
After an unknown amount of time, there was a sound at the door.
Melody glanced at her son and got up to greet her in person.
"Hello, Aunty."
At the door, a woman with a graceful temperament walked in. She had a sweet smile and a soft voice.Her gestures were elegant and ladylike.
Chloe wore a long, dark green dress and a white handbag. She wrapped Melody's arm affectionatelywith the other hand.
When she returned to Somerland, the two had already met several times. They had gotten close overthis period.
Melody was satisfied with her in every possible way.
In her mind, this was the best daughter-in-law she imagined having!
"I'm really sorry. I don't know if you have eaten dinner. This was such a bad time for Auntie to call you."Melody greeted her with a smile.
Chloe smiled like she did not mind. Oh, don’t worry. I'm on a diet lately, and I don't eat at night."
The two walked into the living room, laughing all the way.
Byron heard their voices and stood up to greet her in a gentlemanly manner.
"Byron, long time no see. You’ve matured." When Chloe saw him, her eyes flickered with admiration.
When the two separated, they were still teenagers.
Over the past few years, she often saw Byron on TV and knew that he had changed a lot.
However, nothing compared to meeting him in person. She could truly feel how much Byron haschanged.
Byron reached out his hand politely and shook hers. "Long time no see. You’ve become beautiful."
Chloe smiled bashfully.

With that, she turned and left, leaving the two young adults alone.
Chloe sat down on the sofa beside Byron and looked him up and down.
When she was with Melody two days ago, Melody told her a lot about Byron and Rosalie.
As she looked at Byron now, it was hard to imagine that he would do that for a woman.
