Chapter 756 Explanation
Compared to Luke, who has a strong attitude, Naomi's heart is much softer. Naomi persuades Molly
with kind words, hoping to make her more clear-headed. If she achieves her goal of going to the
hospital and ends up being with Preston, she will definitely regret it in the future.
Molly didn't respond to Naomi's words, but instead told her: "He doesn't know that I'm pregnant. I want
to tell him and let him decide. Please, can you let me tell him myself? It's important to me."
Molly was crying, and in the end, Naomi softened and nodded.
Molly had originally planned not to initiate contact with Preston, but the situation has developed to a
point where she can no longer avoid it.
She dialed Preston's phone number directly and explained her situation to him. Molly told Preston that
Luke's mother was very angry because he did not come back with them, and she even wanted to cut
off their relationship. Molly asked, "What should I do? Preston, can you come back and face this with
me? I really don't know what to do on my own."
Preston listened to her crying voice with a gloomy expression and said, "Did you argue with them?
There's nothing to be gained from that. If they don't agree for the time being, just go along with them. I
can't go back now. If anything happens, I'll take responsibility for the cooperation with the Norman
family."
Preston refused, and Molly's face instantly turned cold.
Molly asked, "Do you know where I am right now?"
"Where?"
"I am in the hospital!"
Preston asked in a flat tone, "What are you doing at the hospital?"
"I'm pregnant, actually I knew I was pregnant before I went to Hance City, I wanted to tell you first, but I
wanted to give you a surprise, but after going to Hance City you were so cold to me, I don't know if you
want this baby? So I never said anything, and now my parents find out and are forcing me to abort.
Preston, do you want this baby?"
Molly sat alone in the hospital corridor, her face devoid of any expression as she stared blankly ahead,
lost in thought.
After she spoke, Preston remained silent for a while, seemingly surprised and shocked by the news of
her pregnancy.
Of course, he had no doubt about it, because Molly's thoughts were clear to him.
The child is definitely his.
Preston frowned and asked, "Are you really pregnant?"
"No," Preston denied, but the appearance of this child was a bit too fast for him. It happened so quickly
that he wasn't mentally prepared.
He asked, "What do you think?"
"I don't know, so can you give me a decision?"
Molly gave the decision-making power to Preston and said that whatever he decided would be fine.
Preston fell into silence. During this process, Molly's heart felt like it was being cut by a sharp blade
little by little, making her almost suffocate in pain.
After nearly half a minute, Preston's voice sounded again.
Preston said: "Can we wait for a few days? I'll go back to Flento City in two days. You come up with an
excuse and find somewhere to hide for two days. Okay?"
Molly agreed.
Since he said to wait for two days, then they will wait for two days.
Molly told Naomi that she needed to fight with Luke first because she wasn't feeling well and needed
some time off before deciding what to do about Preston's request regarding the baby.
Molly had no idea whether or not Preston wanted this child at all. She didn't really understand him or
what he was thinking about all of this?
As far as whether or not Preston ultimately decided to keep the baby or not - she had already mentally
prepared herself either way - her only hope was just one thing: time moving slower than usual.
After hanging up with Molly on the phone call earlier, even Preston fell into brief silence himself; his
face became extremely gloomy as he couldn't figure out how Molly suddenly got pregnant?
From timing perspective alone there must have been at least over 2 months since they lived together in
Flento City; after coming back Hance City they never had any relationship again...
He put his phone aside and lit up his cigarette while feeling somewhat annoyed when suddenly
someone opened the bedroom door from inside; it turned out be woman wearing home clothes who
walked out from inside with slightly reddish cheeks on her fair complexioned face asking gently:
"Preston, what are you thinking?"
She walked over and sat beside him while gazing tenderly at him through eyes filled with affectionate
warmth; lightly lifting her hand onto his arm as she stared intently at him without blinking once…
Preston took a shallow puff of smoke before looking up at this woman's face which bore striking
similarity towards person in his heart – only when looking upon her did he feel like being together with
person inside his heart… Of course deep down inside himself – He knew very well that current woman
sitting next to him wasn't person whom resided within his heart but rather someone who simply
resembled them somewhat…
He narrowed his eyes slightly while gazing upon her face before speaking softly: "Do you want marry
me?"
Zoie was taken aback by Preston's question. She had never thought that their relationship, which had
always been a secret fling, would lead to this. "Preston, are you proposing to me?" she asked
incredulously.
Preston didn't say anything but simply smiled and didn't answer the question.
The conversation ended there as both of them fell silent. Zoie left after spending half a day at Preston's
place and headed off to teach her dance class in the afternoon.
After she left, Preston picked up his phone and made a call. "Molly, have the baby," he said firmly.
Molly wasn't thrilled with his decision and hesitated before asking him if he was sure about it. "We
haven't even gotten married yet," she reminded him.
"If you're willing, we can get married now," he replied confidently. "But I want everything settled first
before we tie the knot."
Molly agreed reluctantly but still wanted him to meet her parents since they were having a child
together now. However, instead of giving her an immediate answer about visiting them, Preston simply
told her that he understood and hung up.
Meanwhile, Ayan received news about Molly's pregnancy in the afternoon from Zoie herself who also
mentioned that Preston had proposed marriage to her despite already having a child on the way with
Molly.
Kian couldn't help but comment on how crazy it all sounded when Ayan remained silent for almost half
a minute before finally asking Kian if he believed Molly was really pregnant or not?
Kian furrowed his brow. "I'm not sure. We've been keeping an eye on Molly and it seems likely that
she's pregnant. The Walker family's servants have confirmed that Molly told Mr. and Mrs. Walker
herself, but they're not willing to talk about it or let her keep the baby."
Ayan's voice was low and his handsome face was cold as he spoke, "So Preston proposed to Zoie innovelbin
order for her to raise Molly's child? Otherwise, why would he propose after finding out about the
pregnancy?"
Ayan smirked, a hint of calculation in his eyes. "Let's see how Preston explains this to Molly when Zoie
agrees to his request."
