Chapter 477 - Nosy

Chapter 477 - Nosy

"Don't move." His voice was low and dull, and his eyebrows were heavy and cold: "No medicine was

rubbed on the bite on your back?"

"None of your business, you let go of me." She pursed her lips tightly, unwilling to let him touch.

But how could Ayan let go of her?

He held her down hard and wouldn't let her struggle to move, even threatening, "Try moving again,

want to feel what my reaction is now? I don't mind settling it right here, and if you move again I'll take it

as a hint that you're inviting me."

His words were so grand, his words so blunt and revealing that Camille's eyes widened suddenly, did

he know what he was saying?

She said indifferently, "Ayan, you are shameless!"

"Well, okay, I'm shameless." Ayan echoed, without the slightest hint of displeasure.

He didn't know what he had rubbed on Camille's back, and it was cold and itchy making the painful

redness feel very comfortable.

Camille wrinkled her brow and didn't want to continue talking, she certainly wasn't going to have a

problem with herself.

It's just that the man's fingertips touching her skin makes her feel awkward and uncomfortable, after all,

they're already divorced, so what's this?

Camille gritted her teeth lightly, her eyes revealing a wide-eyed warm indifference.

When Ayan had finished rubbing the medicine then he let her go, but Camille was about to move when

he suddenly stopped again, "Don't move, the medicine is not dry yet."

Camille stopped moving and just said, "You get out."

"You're good at unloading."

Ayan smiled helplessly, but had no intention of walking away.

Camille said indifferently, "Master Simpson, do you think this is appropriate for us?"

She meant it, and the man's face immediately sank cold.

The deep eyes floated with imperceptible emotions, only to hear him say in a light voice: "I have not

seen there on you?" Then he added, "Don't worry, I won't touch you."

I don't know if that was meant for Camille or for himself?

But his words left Camille completely mute.

She was too lazy to continue talking nonsense with him, tired of talking too much about herself.

But while she didn't want to talk about it, Ayan added, "What the hell happened? "

Camille was slightly stunned, and her face subconsciously stiffened.

She naturally knew exactly what he meant when he asked.

But she was reluctant to speak up, much less say anything else.

Ayan repeated again, "Camille, tell me, what happened?"

"It's in the past, I don't want to bring it up again, so what will it change if you ask now? Or do you want

me to go and apologize to Cora?"

Camille sneered, her words again with obvious sarcasm.

Ayan was silent at once.

There was a few seconds of silence before he said in a low voice, "I didn't mean it like that, I just want

to know what the hell happened?"

"Ayan, stop asking, I'm not going to talk about it, and I don't want to talk about it, you can believe

whoever you like."

Camille's indifferent attitude is enough to show her mind.

After that she just lay there, not wanting to have any more interaction with Ayan.

Her reaction made Ayan feel helpless.

I was helpless to her .

Her stubbornness seems to be becoming more and more obvious, leaving him with a sense of

powerlessness.

Not long after the two were silent with each other, Kian's voice suddenly sounded outside: "Master

Simpson, get ready for dinner, the mayor and Master Tucker went to buy a sheep and came back to

make a whole lamb roast, the mayor invited you and Master Norman to go down and participate."

Ayan hung his head, his face floating with coldness, he spoke back after half a second, "Okay, I know."

Ayan didn't move, his eyes were always on the woman on the bed, and he took a deep look before

saying, "Come down for dinner later, huh?"

Camille didn't want to answer.

He just won't go.

He said, "Camille, I'm talking to you again, do you hear me?"

She did not want to make a sound.

But he just doesn't stop.

Until Camille was annoyed, attitude is very impatient said: "I know know, you stop nagging, okay? You

go quickly, annoying."

When she was emotional, she felt her body heat up and subconsciously had to reach out to scratch the

lump she had been bitten by.

But her hand was stopped by the man's large palm before she could touch it.

Ayan said in a low voice, "If you don't want to be scarred, don't scratch, and rub the medicine if it

itches."

He threw a salve over with no logo or instructions on it.

He volunteered, "I got Dr. Ellis to improvise this, and I'll have Dr. Ellis check it out for you when we get

back from here."

Having said that, he got up and left the room.

Although he is gone, but the air in the house seems to be still wafting with his scent.

This annoyed Camille to no end.

She felt it was really unfair, obviously he had only come for a short while, how could he take over the

place she had lived in for so many days?

It was a long time before Camille sat up from the bed. She changed her clothes and then washed her

face with the spare water before she went out of the room.

The air outside was so nice, she stretched.

Standing on the balcony of the corridor, she could look out and see the men of the playground chatting

freely around the roasted lamb.

Camille did not catch Cora, then concluded that she was in her room, which was right next to hers.

Camille made sure that she and Cora were the only ones upstairs before she went to Cora's room andnovelbin

knocked on the door.

The man inside immediately asked, "Who?"

Camille remained silent without speaking.

After a few seconds of brief silence, Cora eventually came and opened the door.

The four eyes looked at each other, Cora's eyes were surprised and shocked, not expecting it to be

Camille.

She asked softly, "Is something wrong?"

Camille said lightly, "Are you sure you want to talk here?"

Cora understood what she meant, then also immediately took a step backwards as Camille lifted her

foot and walked in.

But she didn't close the door, she turned to face Cora, and the two were close enough to watch any of

each other's movements.

Camille went straight to the point and asked, "Manager Hayes, why did you lie?"

Cora's eyes ducked and she immediately turned toward the bed, then sat down before slowly

answering, "I don't know what you're talking about."

She pretended not to understand.

Camille also did not continue to insist, only hooked lips sneer, the eyes full of mockery.

Camille coldly warned: "Manager Hayes, to let people do not know unless they do not do, yesterday in

the pine forest in the end what happened, you know what is going on? As for why you suddenly

disappeared I think you are also the most clear."

"Miss Armstrong, so you're settling scores with me now?" Cora also asked in a cold and clear manner.

The two men's eyes locked on each other.

Camille smiled indifferently: "I was just mentioning it out of kindness, how can I call it settling scores

after the autumn?"

Cora's face was white, but calm as ever: "Miss Armstrong, thank you for the kind reminder, but it's over,

and I paid such a price for it, so are you still holding on to it?"

The cost?

Fever from the rain or a cut foot from an injury?

Did she cause it?

Camille just smiled, her face was bland and cold.

She stared at Cora for a moment, and the warning of her words became more and more obvious:

"Manager Hayes, no one can force me to take the blame if I don't want to, what's done is done, and I

don't recognize what hasn't been done, so I advise you not to provoke me again, or we can see each

other, eh?"
