After the older uncle finished speaking, the younger uncle and aunt immediately intervened, "Bigbrother, I understand that you're the eldest, but I believe my sister can't bear to watch her parents'eldest grandchild being adopted by her. This time, the uncles and aunts didn't stop them. Instead, they got up to see them off, showingconcern for the two girls and trying to please Camille.
When they left the uncle's house, Camille and Grace got into the car smoothly.
As the driver started the car to leave, Grace couldn't help but say, "If you hadn't come with metonight, I would still be dealing with them, or I wouldn't even know what to do."
Camille simply smiled and said, "They won't behave for long. I just stirred up some conflict for now.Maybe they will continue to quarrel, or maybe they will come to an agreement and choose to adoptonly one person into the Armstrong family. But whatever their reaction, I'm going to continue tocreate conflict using my old methods."
The relationships between the two uncles were not as close as one might imagine. When it comesto their interests, cracks are inevitable.

Camille's words made Grace nod lightly in agreement, saying, "You're always considerate. I wasready to confront them and refuse their demands."

Grace understood and said, "I'll let Horace handle it."
