Chapter 1334 The Play

Chapter 1334 The Play

Jillian smiled slightly, seeming unconcerned, and even a bit carefree as she said, "Don't worry, I won't.

Since I've chosen to like him, naturally I have to accept the cost and consequences of liking him!"

This was her response to Sienna's earlier question about whether she really liked him.

Jillian's direct and unpretentious manner left Sienna completely speechless. She hadn't expected Jillian

to be so straightforward and unfazed.

So for a moment, Sienna was silent, unsure of how to respond.

She bit her lip, maintaining a quiet demeanor, and Jillian couldn't help but speak up, "It's not your

problem, so don't feel awkward or embarrassed. We've been friends for a long time, so I'll just tell you

directly. This has nothing to do with you, and it's not something you can decide. Besides, you're already

married, aren't you?"

Jillian laughed, genuinely unconcerned. Her expression was relaxed and composed. After her speech,

she lowered her voice and asked Sienna, "So do you think I have a good chance?"novelbin

Sienna hesitated, her expression slightly stiff, but she immediately replied, "Not bad, but you're different

from the other women who pursued him in the past."

"How am I different?"

"You might be better at acting?" Sienna whispered, blinking subconsciously and showing a slight smile.

She continued, "Those women in the past would pretend to be gentle, but you wouldn't. Instead, you

would show him your most authentic side. So I think he might see you differently from others."

"That's what I want. Before I came to Hance City, I investigated him. I knew he doesn't like people

pestering him all the time, so I won't do that. Even if I like him a lot, I won't cling to him."

Jillian was very rational. Her thoughts and ideas were independent. She looked at Sienna, expressing

her inner thoughts and plans. She also said to Sienna, "I want to understand him enough, so you have

to help me, okay?"

Helping her was like helping herself, and Sienna naturally agreed without hesitation.

The two chatted for a while until Sienna's phone rang. It was Rex calling. Rex had just had dinner with

Ayan and the others. Originally, he was supposed to pick up Sienna tonight, but Sienna was invited by

Mrs. King and Mario at the last minute, so he had to go to dinner alone.

Rex asked, "Is it not over yet? Can I come pick you up now?"

Having had a bit to drink, Rex naturally needed a driver to come and get Sienna. But Sienna had driven

herself, so she said to Mario, "You take a cab over and then you can ride back with me later."

Rex immediately said, "Okay, I'll be right over there."

Jillian watched Sienna's gentle smile and couldn't help but sigh, "It seems like there's someone in your

heart. That's why you're not interested in an excellent man like Mario. Otherwise, we would be love

rivals, and that would be a difficult situation for me."

Sienna said, "Don't worry, that day will never come. But you need to think it through. Pursuing someone

is not an easy path. Although my mom and I can help you, you'll have to bear the bitterness of the

whole process."

"Yes, I understand what you mean. But I've already thought it through. I will persist until the end, and I

must see this through. So look forward to hearing good news from me when I win him over!"

Jillian was very confident in winning over Mario, so she would never give up halfway.

Jillian stayed with Sienna until Rex arrived. Sienna dropped Jillian off at the hotel lobby and watched

her enter the elevator before leaving to find Rex in the parking lot.

Rex had probably had a few drinks, and when he saw her, he immediately leaned on her, asking in a

hoarse voice, "Why did it take so long? It was just dinner. Why did you come to the hotel where he's

staying? What does he mean by that?"

Rex's words were filled with displeasure, and he even muttered, "I think he's too idle. Isn't managing

this project enough? Does he have time to bother you?"

Sienna couldn't help but smile at Rex's complaints. She opened the car door for him to get in first, and

when he was inside, she slowly said, "He didn't ask me to come to the hotel. My mom introduced a

potential partner to Mario tonight, and coincidentally, it was someone I know. So I brought her to check

in at the hotel, and we chatted for a while. Otherwise, I would have left earlier."

Rex immediately smiled. He said, "Mario's potential partner is your friend?"

"Technically speaking, it's Camille's friend. But Camille doesn't know yet. I found out only after we met.

The other person really likes Mario and, barring any surprises, will make a move."

"Good, we have to support such actions. If she needs anything or help, just let me know. Ward Group

and I will support her."

As Sienna drove towards Franklin Bay, she hadn't specifically told Camille about Jillian's visit to Hance

City. She planned to inform Camille when Jillian met her the next day, surprising Camille.

When Sienna and Rex returned to the villa, Camille and Ayan had not yet returned.

Sienna casually asked, "What did you have for dinner tonight? Why hasn't Camille returned yet?"

Rex reached out for Sienna's help to get inside the house, and due to the alcohol, he unconsciously

showed a bit of a spoiled vibe.

Sienna found it amusing but held back her laughter, supporting him as they walked inside. In a low

voice, she asked, "Are you trying to scam Ayan by drinking so much?"

Rex didn't confirm or deny it, simply not giving a straightforward answer to the question.
