Chapter 1333: Hard To Believe

Chapter 1333: Hard to Believe

How could it be possible?

It's just a matter of not wanting to face it, and not willing to accept it.

Mario silently snorted in his heart, his expression unusually somber, not saying a word until they arrived

at the hotel.

Mrs. King and Sienna were still waiting at the hotel entrance. When Mario's car stopped, they

immediately opened the door for Jillian, with Mrs. King gently saying, "Jillian, stay here tonight. The

environment is nice, and we can have some company. Tomorrow, you can accompany me to roam

around Hance City. I found some nice shops, let's go take a look."

Jillian's smile, loved by all mothers, appeared as she softly replied, "Sure, Nanny, I'll listen to you."

Her response made Mario's face darken, his eyebrows furrowed, and in his heart, he wondered, is this

woman an actress? So good at pretending?

Mario's gaze subconsciously fell on Jillian, his eyes cold. At this moment, Jillian appeared as a gentle

and obedient girl, putting a smile on Mrs. King's face, showing that Mrs. King genuinely liked her.

Sienna also noticed Mario's gaze, her lips twitching slightly, feeling a hint of joy in her heart.

The four of them took the elevator upstairs, heading to Mrs. King's room naturally.

Mrs. King's room was a suite, so they could all sit in the living room and chat.

Mrs. King personally put on the bracelet she had just selected for Jillian, who said, "Nanny, I really like

it, thank you."

Mrs. King chuckled, "Look at you, why be so polite with me. Your mother entrusted me to take care of

you, so just let Nanny know if you need anything."

Jillian nodded happily.

Jillian also brought a gift for Mrs. King from her bag, and as they exchanged gifts, Sienna and Mario

could only watch on the side. However, Mario's phone soon rang; it was his secretary reporting work

matters. Mrs. King was a bit disgruntled, but Jillian said, "Nanny, he's busy, let him go. How about we

three girls have a nice chat?"

Mrs. King nodded, and Mario got up and left the hotel room.

Once the door closed, Jillian waved to Sienna, "Long time no see!!"

Sienna smiled slightly, "Long time no see!!"

Mrs. King was taken aback and asked, "Do you two know each other?"

Sienna explained, "I've met Kelly a few times overseas, and we have a common friend."

Jillian grinned, "But I haven't seen Sienna in a long time. I knew she was in Hance City, so I thought of

asking her to treat me to a meal, but here you are delivering her right to me."

Mrs. King was delighted to hear this and said, "It's only right to treat you to a meal. Let me treat you to

this one. Jillian, tell me what you want to eat."

"Okay, I'll leave it to you." Jillian was very cooperative, and when their eyes met, both she and Sienna

shared a friendly smile.

But with Mrs. King present, they couldn't speak freely. They spent nearly an hour this way, with Mario

not returning, and Mrs. King looking displeased as she tried to contact him several times but with

unsatisfactory results, showing some discontent on her face.

Jillian noticed this, as did Sienna.

However, neither of them showed it, and after a while, Jillian said, "Nanny, it's getting late. Sienna and I

will get a room. Let her accompany me to the room to get familiar. You should rest early. We have

plenty of time to chat tomorrow."

Mrs. King agreed, so she nodded and said, "Alright, let Sienna accompany you. Just let me know if you

need anything."

"Okay, you rest early. We'll go now."

After saying that, Jillian gave Sienna a look, and the two of them left the room.

As they left Mrs. King's room, Jillian took a deep breath and no longer hid her feelings. She said

directly, "It's really tiring to pretend to be a socialite!"

"You are a socialite, the Torres family's status in Campole is well known," Sienna said as she pressed

the elevator button, her gaze fixed on Jillian. She asked, "Why did you suddenly come to Hance City?

When are you going back home?"novelbin

"I wanted to surprise you and Cami. How is she? She must be fine, with Ayan taking good care of her.

Online news is always full of sweet moments between them, it's quite enviable!"

Jillian and Sienna had met through Camille's introduction. Camille was dealing with some conflicts

related to investments of the Torres family overseas, and that was how they got to know each other.

They often had meals together, developing a good relationship over time.

Sienna's personality was similar to Jillian's - proactive, lively, and cheerful. Facing Camille's cold

exterior, she had learned to handle it adeptly.

As they entered the elevator together, they went to the hotel front desk to book a room. Instead of

going straight to the room, Jillian took Sienna and left the hotel.

Jillian asked Sienna, "Is Cami free? I want to meet her."

The two sat in a nearby cafe. Instead of continuing their previous conversation, they brought up Mario.

Jillian asked, "What do you think are the chances of me winning over Mario?"

Sienna didn't answer immediately but asked, "Are you serious? Do you really like him?"

Jillian could see Sienna's worry and directly brought it up, saying, "Are you concerned that if I can't win

him over, you'll be hurt because he likes you?"
