Grace paused for a moment before saying, "So, she's the lost daughter that just returned to the Saun family, huh? No wondershe can become the Vice President here."
Stella pursed her lips and smiled, not showing any anger. "I'm sorry, Mrs. Esper. | indeed don't know too much about our majorclients yet, and | apologize for any negligence. Which series of perfume would you like to try? I'll arrange it for you."
Grace's tone softened a little upon seeing how good Stella's attitude was." I'd like to try the new ‘Cloud Nine’ perfume you'veformulated. If it's as good as you described it, I'm going to order a batch as door gifts for my son's wedding."novelbin
Stella did not know about the ‘Cloud Nine’ perfume. She glanced at Audrey for clarification.
Aubrey then said in a low voice, "Ms. Hall, we can't sell ‘Cloud Nine.’ Mrs. Barlow customized it; she would not appreciate it if wesold it to others. We have an agreement not to sell it as ‘Cloud Nine’ is formulated exclusively for her.
"Besides, the ingredients of ‘Cloud Nine’ are very rare. The whole process of creating it is very complex and will take at leastthree months. Even if Mrs. Esper likes it, we can't guarantee it will be ready before the wedding."
Stella frowned. "If it's agreed not to be resold, how did Mrs. Esper know about it?”Aubrey did not know what to say because she did not even know who had leaked the information about ‘Cloud Nine."
If Stella were to directly tell Grace that she could not try ‘Cloud Nine’ after she specifically came for it, she would surely offendher. After all, someone must have told her that she could try it before she came here.
Judging by Aubrey's attitude toward Grace, Stella figured that this client must be extremely important to Darcie. It was impossiblefor Darcie to notify Grace to come try the perfume, knowing it could not be sold.
Darcie was not foolish enough to offend two of her major clients at once.Stella speculated that this was likely related to Jaylene, who wanted this conflict to happen and bring her down.
‘What an idiot! This is not going to be good for anybody. If we really lost Mrs. Esper as our major client, it would be a loss for theentire company! Stella cursed inwardly.
Grace noticed the two of them whispering and became somewhat displeased. "What are you two talking about?"
Stella turned around and immediately figured out what to say to Grace." Mrs. Esper, if you're planning to choose a door gift foryour son's wedding,’ Cloud Nine’ might not be the best choice."
A puzzled expression grew on Grace's face. "Why is that?"
Stella said, "The scent of ‘Cloud Nine’ is very unique, and it's made for attending important events. It might lose its uniqueness ifitis used as a door gift and given out to all the guests. Doing this will even make them feel like the gift isn't thoughtful enough."
Grace paused and figured that what Stella said was right.Seeing her expression softening, Stella added, "If you want to customize perfume as door gifts, you can choose from several
other series we offer. For younger guests, you can use some with more lively top notes. For older guests, opt for ones withrelatively mild and mature scents.
“And as for those working individuals, you can select the ones with a calming effect. Choosing multiple series for guests will notonly prevent them from using the same perfume but also reflect on your thoughtfulness.
Before Stella could say anything more, someone else chimed in, "More importantly, these other series are all more affordableand not as expensive as ‘Cloud Nine.’ They have better value for money."
Jaylene smiled and looked at Stella after saying that. "Is that right, Ms. Hall?"Stella's gaze darkened.
Grace, who was about to change her mind, became upset when she heard words like "expensive" and "value for money." "Whatdo you mean? Are you not letting me try it because you think | can't afford it?"
