Stella took out the rough plot she had drafted in the office that afternoon and handed it to Felicity. "It's going to be about thesecharacter settings and storyline. Take a look and see if you can write it.”
Felicity read it briefly and smiled. "This is perfect, but we need to come up with another narrative style. This is too slow;audiences nowadays prefer revenge-themed stories. We just need to make some minor changes to it."
She then discussed the storyline as she envisioned it with Stella. Stella nodded and said, "Okay. | feel like I'm watching italready, just listening to you."
Felicity replied excitedly, "I'll stay up these days to rush it out for you. We can talk about it again when the script is ready.""Sure."
Vermont came out of the kitchen and said, while grabbing his jacket, "Miss bandit, I'm going out to get some ginger. Can youwatch the pot for me?"
“Wait, I'll go with Stella. You can continue with your cooking." Felicity stood up while holding Stella's hand. "Is ginger all youneed? Anything else?"
Vermont put down his coat. "We're running out of snacks. Buy some if you want. There's some change in the drawer."As the two of them left the house, Felicity pursed her lips, hesitating to speak.
Stella gazed at her. "What do you want to say?"
Felicity sighed. "On New Year, | told my mom that | have a boyfriend."
Stella was shocked. ‘She already told her mom, huh? Judging by the conflicted look on her face, | guess it didn’t go well."Upon thinking about that, Stella asked softly, "What happened? Did she not agree?"
Felicity said, "It's not that she didn't agree, but she brought up some really strange requirements."
Stella was puzzled. "Is it about money?"
"No, she doesn't care about that at all."
"Then does she want to live with you and Vermont after you two get married?"
