Stella was still worried that Keegan’s acting would be unnatural and too obvious to trick them.

Albert got interested as soon as he heard what Keegan said. However, he remained skeptical.

Keegan said, “Our technology is so advanced now that gene engineering and gene medication are verynormalized. So, why would it be impossible to do that?’
Albert immediately got tempted. “C-Could you send me her contact, then?”
Keegan replied, “Of course. Just mention my name when you call her.”
Albert was extremely grateful, but he was filled with deep regret when he saw how well Stella andKeegan looked together.

Albert finally acted like a father as he said to Keegan, “Mr. Kane, please take care of Stella for me.”
’Sure,” Keegan responded. Then, Albert walked away hurriedly, and of course, taking Xenia with him.
Stella laughed out loud after they went out of their sight. “Your lie is ridiculous! How could you choosethe gender of a baby? Aren’t you worried that he’ll see through your lie?”
Keegan shrugged his shoulders. “I didn’t explicitly tell him that it’s possible. He could be just unlucky ifthings didn’t work out for him. How brilliant was that, huh?”
He held her finger as he spoke. “Let’s go. The show’s over. I’ll take you home now.”
Stella grabbed his hand and openly held it.
Aldor had been waiting in the car for them. He started the car as soon as they got in.
‘Mr. Kane, I got what you asked for. They’re on the seat.”
Aldor said while driving.
’Okay,” Keegan said as he picked up the file from the passenger seat. He scanned it before shifting hisgaze to Stella. He was about to say
something, but he saw Stella texting someone on WhatsApp while typing nonstop.
Keegan put on his glasses, and his face turned red with anger.
Stella was going back and forth with a person named “Fifty Million” on WhatsApp.
Keegan knew that the person could only be Marshall.
He felt even worse when he thought that the fifty million originated from the money she had to pay forfiling the divorce against him back then.
“Who are you talking to?”
She suddenly heard Keegan speaking. His breath was so close to her that she was startled.
Stella pushed him away and said, “Don’t speak so close to my ear.” Then, she added, “Marshall saidthat Duncan’s wife is safe now, and their baby is fine too. He just texted me to keep me updated.”novelbin
