Chapter 1187

Chapter 1187novelbin

Felicity immediately covered her mouth and whispered, “I didn’t say anything.”

“You said that Stella kissed Spencer before,” Keegan said in a deep voice.

Then, Felicity said awkwardly, “You must have misheard.”

After that, she abandoned her best friend without a second thought and said, “Anyway, I’m hungry. Letme check if there’s any steak left.” Then, she hurriedly left.

Stella was stunned, ‘I knew I shouldn’t have trusted her big mouth!’

Keegan turned around and looked at Stella with a stern face. “Please explain.”

Stella swallowed and said softly, “Can I do that later? We still have a show to put on.”

Keegan kept quiet, and his expression remained serious. Stella saw that and realized that she had toexplain right away. So, she cleared her throat and said, “It’s not a big deal. It’s just that, the guy,Spencer… he was my first love.”

Keegan’s expression immediately darkened. He gritted his teeth and asked, “Didn’t you say you didn’tknow him earlier?”

Stella replied softly, “I just didn’t want you to get angry.”

“Why did you hide it from me if you knew I’d be angry?”

“I didn’t mean to do that.” Stella gently held his hand. “I didn’t expect to see him here today, and I justdidn’t know how to tell you about it. You know how jealous you could be, too, right? Our plan would bein vain if you got upset and stopped acting with me.”

Keegan’s face still looked very sour.

Stella softened her tone. “Keegan Kane? Keegan? Mr. Kane?”

Keegan remained silent.

Then, Stella gathered her courage, clenched her teeth, and said, “Babe, please don’t be mad at meanymore. You can punish me however you like when we get home later, okay? It hurts me to see youangry like this.”

Suddenly, Keegan’s heart skipped a beat.

He lowered his head and saw Stella looking at him pitifully as he thought to himself. ‘Sknows just howto handle me.’

Keegan really wanted to take a stand and be mad at her, but he just did not have the heart to. Heswept his gaze across her and asked in a deep voice, “When did you date him?”

Stella answered truthfully, “During the second semester of my senior year.”

Keegan frowned as his fatherly temper exploded, “How could you have the time to date when you hadthe college entrance exam coming up?”

Stella replied softly, “I was worried it would affect my studies too. That was why I broke up with himafter two weeks.”

Keegan reluctantly accepted that explanation before he continued, “How did it start? Did you or himmake the first move?”

Stella pursed her lips. “Can we talk about this when we get home later?”

Keegan glared at her, “It was you!”

Stella kept quiet.

She licked her lips and said, “We were in the same class back then, and we sat next to each other. Healways couldn’t remember what the teacher told us and would often borrow my notes. After some time,I felt he was nice and asked him if he wanted to date me. Unexpectedly, he said yes. I wasn’t expectingit to be so easy at all.”

Keegan scoffed. “It was mainly because he looks good, right?”

His response left Stella speechless.

Keegan was not convinced by what Stella said. He was not doubting Stella but rather the excuseSpencer used to approach her.

He had heard about this son of Penn Graham studying at a prestigious institution abroad that was noteasy to get into. Besides being exceptionally good at studying, one also had to be talented atsomething to be selected.

So, he did not believe Spencer would have trouble understanding what their teacher taught them andeven needed to borrow Stella’s notes.
