Stella glanced at the young man named Ethan, thinking it was impossible that he was Spencer’scousin. ‘He looks rather average. His eyes are small, and his forehead is huge. He’s not really short,but his proportions are not that great, either. Moreover, he slouches when he stands, which makes himlook even more unattractive,’ she thought.
Perhaps sensing Stella’s gaze, Ethan looked over at her. She immediately averted her eyes.

Stella looked down and said, “I think you should discuss this with Hylda. It’s her big day. Anannouncement like that would ruin the occasion.”
‘Hylda would never agree to this. She’s so short-sighted; she never sees the bigger picture,’ thoughtAlbert. “Yeah, okay. Sure,” he said to Stella. After that, he turned around and told Sophia to entertainthe guests while he checked up on Hylda.
‘ Alright, Dad,” Sophia replied as Albert left the scene.
Sophia noticed that Keegan was still looking at Stella and could not help but feel irritated. She hadmixed feelings about him; she admired, feared, and liked him all at once. At the same time, Sophia helda grudge against Keegan for dismissing her at the press conference. Although she had no proof as towho caused the incident, she believed that Stella was behind it.
Sophia was overjoyed when she heard that Keegan and Stella got divorced, but… ‘What the hell isgoing on? Why are Keegan’s eyes glued to that bitch?’ she thought as she stepped forward betweenStella and Keegan.

Vermont glanced at Sophia and then at her boyfriend, Ethan. He noticed Ethan’s eyes darting towardStella from time to time. ‘Interesting…’ He approached the couple and said, ‘Ms. Jewell, Mr. Shaw. Ihaven’t eaten much today. How about you take me to the steaks?”
Sophia did not have a good impression of Vermont because he always seemed like he was plottingsomething, making her uncomfortable. However, Sophia had no choice but to reluctantly agree to hissuggestion.
Felicity could hear Vermont chatting up a storm as the three of them walked away. “So, how did youtwo meet?” he asked.
Felicity was furious. “Can’t that Stinky Cucumber get his own steaks? Why did he have to ask thatannoying ass girl to take him to the grill station? Also, her boyfriend looks hideous. I can’t imagine whyshe would date him, let alone kiss him.”
“Because he’s wealthy, of course,” Stella replied.
Keegan’s eyelids twitched when he heard that. “Money can buy kisses?” he asked.
Stella paused and quickly clarified, ‘That only applies to Sophia. I prioritize looks.” She then teasedKeegan, saying, “I would kiss any guy who had your looks, though.”
Keegan felt slightly comforted by her calling him handsome. But he was also a little weirded out by thethought of Stella kissing every man who looked like him. He was about to say something when heheard Felicity say, “So does that mean you kissed Spencer Graham?”novelbin
