Chapter 55- Epilogue

After three months

Meher's p.o.v

" And, the best architect award goes to Meher Afroz Khan for her outstanding design for the most

prestigious hotel ' Hotel Royal Blue," the host declared and I couldn't control my emotions.

I immediately stood up and gave Mehrab and Mehmet in Adeel Bhaiya's arm. I heard my brother Asif is

congratulating me along with Haniya Ji.

Well, I am here in the design icon award organised by the Architect community.

I walked towards the stage and received the award. The host told me to say some words about my

achievement.

I took the mic from the host's hand and started saying," First of all, I want to thank my Almighty for

showing me the right path always and helping me. I am grateful to my family members for supporting

me always and I am dedicating this award to my little boys. They are the biggest strength of mine."

After that, I heard a loud clapping sound. I looked at my brothers who are looking at me with their teary

eyes. I also noticed my both munchkins excited face. I smiled brightly looking at them.

Then, I thanked the audience and came down from the stage. I don't know why I missed Sehreyar

here. I wanted to show him that I am not any mistress. I have the ability to establish my own identity.

I walked towards my family members and my children jumped on me excitedly.

" Mamma, you won a prize. Yey......" Mehrab and Mehmet both said in unison and kissed my cheeks.

I patted their head gently when Adeel bhaiya said smiling," I am proud of you. I am happy that I have a

sister like you."

" Thanks, bhaiya," I replied and looked at Haniya Ji.

She gave me a warm smile and said," Congratulation. You deserve this award."

I just nodded my head politely and asked her," Do you still think that I shouldn't have sent your brother

into jail?"

She looked at me with her wide eyes after hearing my questions. She wasn't expecting this question.

" All is about Karma. My brother is paying for his karma. I don't blame you," She said sadly.

We all became quiet for some time. An awkward silence takes over the whole atmosphere.

" We should celebrate this achievement," We heard Asif's excited voice. I know he is trying to lighten

up this gloomy atmosphere.

Then, Adeel bhaiya said smiling," Yes, let's celebrate."

I also agreed with them and Haniya Ji also agreed with us.

After one week

Author's p.o.v

" Mamma, catch us," Mehrab and Mehmet both said in unison while running on a beach. Meher is

running after them to catch.

Meher is wearing a sky blue long sundress with half sleeves. Her honey brown colour hairs are open

and flowing in the fast wind of the seashore. She is looking too beautiful in her dress. And, her little

munchkins are wearing shorts with small thin shirts. They are looking too cute in their attire.

Meher said laughing loudly," You naughty boys! You are making mamma tired."

After running for some time, Meher caught her sons and they giggled loudly. She kissed their chubby

cheeks and they also kissed her back.

Well, yesterday was Mehrab and Mehmet's birthday. They both have turned 3 yesterday. Meher

celebrated their birthday in India. But, she promised her sons that she will take them on vacation. So,

she has taken them to the Maldives for vacation.

Meher is now walking with her sons at the seashore. Both are holding their mother's hands. Mehrab is

holding Meher's right hand and Mehmet is holding Meher's left hand. The little wave from the ocean is

touching their feet muscles relaxing them.

" Mamma, this is so beautiful," Mehmet said looking at the ocean.

Meher smiled and patted his small head. She is also enjoying the beautiful weather here.

Then, Mehrab said excitedly pointing his one baby finger to the ocean," Look, Mamma. A big boat."

" Hmm. It's huge," Meher said looking at the huge boat.

Suddenly, Mehrab and Mehmet both ran towards the ocean and started jumping on the water. Meher

also followed her naughty kids and ran behind them.

" Mamma," Mehmet said and splashed a little bit of water on Meher's face.

Meher said splashing some water on Mehmet," You naughty boy. Take it."

" Yey. It's fun to play like this," Mehrab said excitedly and splashed some water on his mother and

brother.

After that, they started enjoying the cool water of the ocean. Meher and her sons are giggling with their

mother. Meher became a child with her children. She is looking so carefree and enjoying every moment

with her sons.

Meher is now a self-dependent strong woman. She is now one of the famous architects in the whole

country. She has made her own identity through her hard work.

She was never a mistress nor an object to possess. The situation made her a mistress. She has facednovelbin

the worst reality of this world. But, she never gave up. She is a fighter and she fought back. She

overcame her weakness and understood about her self respect. That's why she didn't give up in front

of Sehreyar.

She proved her worth in front of everyone. She punished Sehreyar for his misdeeds with her. She didn't

forgive him because his sins are unforgivable. He is paying for his sins and rotting inside the dark cell.

And Meher is now leading a peaceful life with her children. After sending Sehreyar into jail, she went to

meet Rehaan to apologise. There she comes to know that he has already married someone else.

After that, Meher understood that Rehaan was also not right for her. This incident gave her more

confidence.

She decided to lead her life alone with her children. She is determined to break the stereotype that a

woman can never take a man's place. She is determined to raise her children alone. She is determined

that she will make her son true gentleman's who will respect woman always.

Finally, Meher's sad life ended and happiness entered into her life. She is now happy in her life with her

children. She still remembers Sehreyar. But not his ugly side. She remembers his good side and still

loves his gentle side. She agreed with her heart that, her heart really beats for Sehreyar.

She also understood that it's always not necessary to live happily ever after with the person you love.

No matter what she can't ignore Sehreyar's sins.

In the end, Meher became stronger and confident. Now, she is leading her life happily with her cute

children.
