Love In Twilight By Tiny Mountains Chapter 435

Chapter 435 Boyfriend Initially, Cindy came to this university to have a look at Caleb. Caleb stopped by

the cafeteria before he went for his practice game at the basketball court. He needed to eat to keep up

during the game later.

Cindy didn’t expect to run into both Clarissa and Caleb at the same time. This was a good opportunity

for her! “Yes,” Clarissa replied. “It’s hard to find a husband after graduating with a doctorate. It’s been

hard for you, and it’s going to be even more difficult now! You have to hurry up before you miss your

chance forever!” Cindy advised, as though she was a responsible elder.

Caleb was pleased to hear that. He now knew that Clarissa wasn’t seeing anyone. Still, she did say

she had a child before…

Clarissa was confused. She initially expected Cindy to come to ruin her life. Why was she not talking

about Damien and Neil? Then, she saw Caleb standing behind her. “Who’s this?” Cindy asked upon

seeing Caleb, pretending not to know him. “He’s my…” Clarissa wanted to say ‘my student’, but Caleb

interjected before she could finish her sentence.

He cut her off and said, “Boyfriend.” Clarissa frowned and shot Caleb a look, but she didn’t refute.

Cindy immediately beamed into a megawatt smile. “I didn’t see that coming. My, you both look so good

together! I thought you wouldn’t be able to find another man in your life, Clarissa. This is wonderful

news!”

“Young man, you have to take good care of Clarissa. Otherwise, she’ll go away. Well then, Clarissa,

you must be busy. I’ll go first. Your cousin’s still busy filming her show.” After saying that, Cindy patted

Clarissa’s hand affectionately and walked away. “Did you just…?” Clarissa broke away from Caleb’s

embrace. She was unsure whether she should thank him or slap him in the face. “Who’s that?”

“My aunt. It’s…complicated.” Clarissa walked away quickly right after. It seemed she had to talk to

Caleb about her matters in private. Otherwise, he wouldn’t stop with his nonsense.

More than anything, she wanted to know why Cindy said all those things. Cindy certainly didn’t speak

on the spur of the moment.

Clarissa and Caleb went to the basketball court one after the other.

Clarissa met Lísa outside the school gym. Lisa even bought her a cup of milk tea. The two of

them finished the drink before entering the gym. When they got in, the game was about to

start.

When they went to search for their seat, Neil spotted Clarissa. After all, Neil and Damien were sitting in

the back row.

“Daddy, look! It’s Clarissa!” Neil pointed at Clarissa excitedly.

Damien had noticed her a long time ago. ‘What’s she doing here at the University of Florin? Is she here

to watch the basketball game?’

Clarissa’s seat was in the front row, so she didn’t see them.

Caleb was on the basketball court. When he casually glanced around, he was surprised to see

Clarissa. She had actually come to his game!

Caleb was encouraged by Cindy’s earlier words. ‘If we win the game, I’ll confess to Clarissa!’

At the moment, he trained hard. He took off his shirt and ran around the court, pumped.

The basketball game was ongoing, but Clarissa looked bored and uninterested. Her mind was on

Connie. She wondered whether Connie’s presence in this university was Iris’s idea.

She ignored the noises in the gym, and heard nothing.

She wasn’t the only one in the gym who was distracted. There was another person who wasn’t paying

attention to the game-Damien.

Damien would occasionally fix his gaze on Clarissa. She kept staring ahead, and seemed preoccupied

with her thoughts. She wasn’t as excited as the girl next to her.

Damien’s gaze moved to the court. He saw Caleb’s eyes glancing toward the audience as the latter

whistled.

Caleb was indeed very charming on the basketball court.

The intense game finally came to an end at seven o’clock.novelbin

The University of Florin won. The excited players began hugging each other, filled with euphoria from

their victory.

At the same time, everyone saw Caleb knelt down on one leg in Clarissa’s direction. Then, he put his

hand on one side of his chest, as if he was announcing a solemn pledge.
