Love In Twilight By Tiny Mountains Chapter 323

Chapter 323 The Bables Would Be Gone Rebecca happened to bump into Madelynn in the mall.

Madelynn‘s outfit was unusually humble and down to earth. Even so, she was easily recognised.

At the sight of Madelynn, fury surged within Rebecca.

“Look who it is,” Rebecca sneered.

Madelynn didn‘t know who Rebecca was, and simply treated the latter as one of her fans.

Nowadays, it was rare for Madelynn to still have fans. As such, she was extra friendly. “Do you want my

autograph?” Madelynn said, pulling out a pen from her bag. “Not really. It‘s more about you pretending

to be the delivery man and setting a house on fire that ended up killing the grandmother inside. How

much of a bit*h are you?!” Though Rebecca was dressed in impeccable office attire and held a Hermes

bag–the picture of a successful business woman-her anger gave her a harsh and brutish impression.

“Excuse me?” Madelynn was confused at Rebecca’s outburst.

“You know that I can sue you for defamation right?” Madelynn added.

Rebecca seemed unbothered by the threat. “Go ahead. I was thinking about how to expose your

crimes to the public, so thanks for the solution.”

After that, she flung her hair and left.

Madelynn was left frozen on the same spot, more confused than ever.

Not long after that, her manager gave her a call. “Miss York! Connie‘s auditioning for a historical drama,

and I know the casting director,” her manager said.

“Don‘t let her pass the audition. I want her to have a horrible life!” Madelynn yelled into the speaker.

“That‘s a piece of cake! She‘s basically nobody.”

“Also, someone said I sent a parcel to Connie‘s house and killed her grandmother. That‘s ridiculous!

Why would I do that? Look into this for me,” Madelynn added.

“Okay.” Not long after that, the manager called Madelynn again and told her the entire thing. Madelynnnovelbin

was surprised. ‘Isn‘t Connie‘s grandmother also Clarissa‘s grandmother?‘

A great idea struck her at that very moment. Perhaps she should pester Clarissa about this! Clarissa

would be emotionally distraught, and the stress would cause her to miscarriage. The next day,

Madelynn waited outside the mansion to carry out her plan. Very soon, she saw Clarissa coming out of

the mansion with Mrs. Faber.

Mrs. Faber left some time after Clarissa was seated in the coffee shop. Madelynn quickly snuck into the

shop, eager to approach Clarissa. It was still working hours, so there weren’t many customers inside.

After entering, Madelynn took off her sunglasses to make her presence known. “Long time no see,

Miss Johnson.” Madelynn had always referred to Clarissa as Miss Johnson.

Clarissa’s mood soured the instant she faced Madelynn.

“What do you want?” Clarissa pursed her lips.

“Oh! Well, I heard that your mood‘s been fluctuating because of me. You‘re right, Miss Johnson. I sent

the parcel to Connie because I wanted revenge. She was nothing but my assistant! How dare she try to

betray me? I never meant to kill your grandmother, though. My target was Connie. Unfortunately, things

went out of hand. It‘s such a shame that your grandmother had to die! But Damien helped me, and

even promised to have a comeback soon! After all, i‘m his ex–girlfriend. You need to understand that

we still have lingering feelings for each other,” Madelynn said calmly, smiling all the way.
