Love In Twilight By Tiny Mountains Chapter 130

Chapter 130 Pregnancy “I’ll go have my lunch first.” Janet gave Clarissa a pat on the shoulder before

leaving.

She was probably being considerate and didn’t want Clarissa to feel awkward.

However, the lobby was a different matter altogether. Many people had begun to gossip.

“What contract marriage?”

“Does that mean they’re going to end their contract soon?”

“I knew it! There’s no way President Lawrence would take a liking to someone like Clarissa!”

“Luke, watch your mouth!” Clarissa walked up to Luke and shoved him angrily.

“Clarissa, how could you do this?! You abandoned President Moore for President Lawrence? If you’re

doing this for the money, President Moore has it too!” Luke continued, not caring that Clarissa had

shoved him.

Now that Nicole was hanging around Joseph Moore, there was a chance that the two would end up

together.

Luke would never let that happen. Thus, he decided to expose Clarissa in front of everyone at the

company today in the hopes of ruining her marriage with Damien.

Madelynn was delighted by the turn of events.

Luke mentioned the contract marriage back then, but she had been distracted by Clarissa’s fake

pregnancy

While Luke spoke, Damien strode out of the elevator.

He stood next to Clarissa protectively and hugged her by the waist. Turning to look at Luke, he said

calmly, “What marriage contract? Ridiculous. If it exists, thenlet’s see if we’d really split up.”

His statement killed the gossip immediately. Even Luke fell silent.

Clarissa, who was standing right next to Damien, didn’t even notice that her phone had fallen into his

pocket

As Clarissa and Damien headed towards the entrance, Damien turned around and glared at the

security guard. “Don’t allow any irrelevant people to enter this building! Otherwise, you’re fired!”

After that, Damien left swiftly with Clarissa. Still, Luke was Clarissa’s brother. She couldn’t help but feel

embarrassed by his ridiculous antics.

“Where are we going?” Clarissa asked after getting into the car.

“Lunch.”

Damien then drove out of the car park.

“We…” Clarissa recalled Damien mentioning something about not splitting up. In the end, she

wasn’t sure if they would still divorce in the future.

“We’ll see.”

Clarissa nodded, not saying anything anymore.

Damien brought Clarissa to a well known restaurant, and they went into a private room. He didn’t even

have to order anything, for the waiters started bringing in food the moment they entered.

“You had all these for lunch?” Clarissa lifted her head and looked at Damien.

“Yes.”

“Then why did you ask me to cook for you? The food here looks delicious!”novelbin

“To save money.”

Clarissa knew he was joking. “Unlike you, I can only eat cheap meals.”

“Are you suggesting we should have our meals together next time?” Damien asked.

“No.” She liked eating those cheap meals. “Don’t eat spicy food that often. It won’t help with your

pregnancy.”

That almost choked Clarissa, who was in the middle of eating. She didn’t expect him to bring up the

topic of pregnancy, of all things.

She coughed. “Are you serious? Our contract didn’t include pregnancy!”

“Do you dislike me?” Damien looked at Clarissa, smiling.

“Who could resist someone as handsome and as rich as you?” Clarissa threw the question back at him.

“Does that include you?”

Clarissa lowered her head, knowing well that she had no rights to love someone of his status. Plus, she

wasn’t planning to have kids in the next five years.

She continued drinking her soup. “There’s no need to feel burdened because I saved your life. I’d do

the same for anyone else. It’s just pure instinct.“

“Really?” Damien asked. Still, he didn’t press on. “Let’s just eat.”

Clarissa had her hair tied up today, revealing her smooth neckline.

Damien couldn’t help but stare.

There were a lot of “first times” today. Clarissa tied her hair up for the first time, and they even went out

on a lunch date for the first time.

“Does it still hurt?” he asked, sounding a touch concerned.

“My brother made it worse. Ugh.”

After lunch, the duo returned to the company. “Clarissa…?” Suddenly, a voice sounded from behind

them.
