Chapter 14

The morning sunlight shone through the floor-to-ceiling window, illuminating the room. The horns of thecars in the morning were noisy.

Slowly opening her eyes, Judith grabbed her cellphone and had a look. It was eight o’clock and it wasnot late. She woke up on time and never stayed in bed. Getting out of bed, Judith walked to thebathroom. After washing up, she put on light makeup for but the lipstick was in the style of a queen. Herlight makeup made her more beautiful and charming with her good skin. The professional suit, the whiteshirt and the black skirt she wore set her figure off. Judith took the black leather handbag aside and heldthe materials needed for today’s meeting. She went to the door and put on her black high heels. Shelooked mature and reserved, exuding the aura of a professional at work. Opening the door with aconfident smile, she walked out. There were twenty-five floors in the headquarter of the Taylor Group.

The company arranged her position early in the morning.

She entered the company and went to the front desk to get her card. After clocking in, she entered theelevator and went to the twenty-fifth floor. She took over the position of Hana who was the former designdirector. She would be responsible for designing only and didn’t need to bother herself with other issues.Only chief executives could take the elevator that Judith was taking. Just as the elevator door was aboutto close, it was opened again. A woman in a white dress walked in. The woman had exquisite makeupand a slim figure. She was like a blooming white lotus, dignified and beautiful, untainted by dust. Judithsmiled at the woman politely. However, the woman looked at her disdainfully and lowered her head tolook at her phone. Judith didn’t mind. Those who could take this elevator were all chief executives. Shewould stay here for a month and then return to Kimshire. It would be helpful for her to get along well withpeople here.novelbin

They reached the twenty-fifth floor. Neither of them said a word. The woman kept her head down andplayed with her phone. The decoration of the twenty-fifth floor was luxurious. The two plants at the doorgrew well. The woman in white walked out of the elevator before Judith. She walked straight towards thepresident’s office. Judith didn’t care much. She walked towards the secretary who was doingpreparations. The secretary of the Taylor Group was a handsome man. Frank had also tried to find afemale secretary. However, every female secretary wanted to sleep with him, so he could only ask hisgood buddy to be his secretary. When the woman in white walked straight over, the secretary, EdwinYoung, stopped the woman in white. “Miss Chaney, where are you going?” Edwin was tall in white shirtand a pair of black trousers. He had a handsome face with short and clean hair. He had determined andsharp eyes. He didn’t look ordinary. He appeared elegant and gentle. Ann Chaney raised her head tolook at Edwin. She asked with confusion, “Mr. Young, I came to look for Frank. What’s the matter?” Ann’ssaid with a gentle voice and a soft smile. Edwin frowned and said, “Miss Chaney, Mr. Taylor is going tohave a meeting. He won’t see anyone now.” Edwin didn’t show much respect to Ann. Ann frowned andlooked displeased. Staring coldly at Edwin, she said tartly, “Mr. Young, mind your attitude to me. I’ll bethe president’s wife.”

Edwin spread his hands and smiled. His eyes were filled with disdain as he mocked, “I suggest that youshould say this only when you become the president’s wife.”
