The flserpent was finally incapacitated after the relentless assault. It whined as if it was begging Wilbur to show mercy.

Wilbur finally stopped then, smashing the serpent onto the ground and staring it down.

The flserpent's violence and aggression were completely gone. It lay by Wilbur's feet meekly.

"Do you admit defeat?" The flserpent seemed to understand what Wilbur was saying, nodding its head obediently.

Wilbur smirked. "Good. I'll place you somewhere else for now. I'll have a talk with you when | have the time." He picked up the flserpent and hurled it straight into his demiplane.

Just like that, the flserpent vanished from their sight. Weston and Skyler were in a daze, not knowing what happened at all.

Just then, Wilbur said, "Let's go and see if we can run into any treasures." Weston and Skyler knew that what just happened was Wilbur's secret and did not ask much as they followed behind him.

The three men wandered among the strange plants, taking in the sights around them. Without the flserpent, this really was a beautiful place.

Very soon, they arrived at the middle of the valley where a bright red tree stood.

It was not very tall, about the height of an apple tree.

However, it seemed to be on fire, radiating waves of powerful heat.

There was also a puddle of white liquid under the tree, letting off a tantalizing scent.

"Spirit sap?" Wilbur was in shock.novelbin

Skyler asked, "What's spirit sap?" "It's formed through the absorption and condensation of spiritual energy and heavenly essence for thousands of years. Places with spirit sap are abundant with strange plants filled with spiritual energy like these. They grow because of the spirit sap. They're very, very rare," Wilbur said.

The other two nodded profusely. This really was a blessed place.

"Let's look elsewhere," Wilbur said, walking deeper into the valley.

The three of them made a full round around the valley and finally cacross a straw hut.

It was unclear how long the hut had been there, but it was a miracle that it was still standing.

However, sights like that were not out of the ordinary in a place like this.

The three of them walked into the hut and saw a stone bed. There was a skeleton lying on it, the bones translucent and shiny like precious crystals.

Wilbur sighed. It would seem those bones belonged to the owner of the hut.

He was probably a great cultivator of his time, spending his days cultivating here. Alas, he had not been able to advance successfully and eventually reached the end of his lifespan.

His corpse, however, had been absorbing the spiritual energy from his surroundings. The flesh had completely decayed and disappeared, but the skeleton remained and transformed.

The skeleton held a large amount of spiritual energy and would make a fine contribution. However, that was not what Wilbur had in mind.

Wilbur was a cultivator himself, and doing such a thing would be crossing a line.

Just then, Wilbur noticed that there seemed to be swritings on the side of the steps leading up to the stone bed.

He walked up to take a closer look and saw that it was a cultivation method.

This was definitely a pretty powerful cultivation method, but Wilbur had the Dragon's Chant, and the method on the steps could hardly compare.

He turned to Weston. "There's a cultivation method here. You can take a look to see if it suits you. If it does, memorize it and get to cultivating." Weston was overjoyed, hurrying forward.
