Chapter 327 Reggie panicked at those words. After all, Wade was his boss. Reggie's entire future was pretty much in the palm of the man's hand.

He asked Reggie out to this gathering in hopes of climbing the ranks, only for things to work against him. Now that Wade was angry, Reggie might even get in trouble. €&9 Reggie leaned closer to Nancy and whispered, "Nancy, can you please do this for me? I'm going to lose my job if Mister Lynch is upset." Nancy sighed and nodded. It was undeniable that they had been classmates, and she felt obligated to help. "Wilbur's coming too, then. I'm not going if he isn't."novelbin

Nancy could tell that something was off, but she felt like there was nothing she had to be afraid of as longas__——— Wilbur was with her.

Reggie looked at Wilbur desperately.

Wilbur shook his head helplessly and said, "Sure, let's all go and have some fun." He could not find it in him to turn Nancy down.

Reggie perked up at once. "Alright, let's go! Golf is a great sport. It'll be good for your physical health." Wilbur sighed to himself. The class president had changed completely.

Wade said, "I'll have the driver bring the SUV over. We'll all go in my

car." The girls nodded, and Wade took out his phone. He made a few ] arrangements and went back to drinking with everyone.

The car arrived soon after that. Reggie hurried to pay the bill, and everyone hopped aboard Wade's luxury SUV before heading off to the Seechertown Golf Club.

The girls were awed by the posh car, showering Wade with praise. Wade smiled smugly and even shot a glance at Wilbur. Wilbur merely smiled in silence.

He knew that Wade was trying to one- up him, but he could hardly be bothered by such things.

They arrived at the golf club a little

later. Wade flashed his VIP card, and everyone was immediately treated like kings. The girls were positively ecstatic.

The staff drove everyone out to the course on golf carts lit with beautiful lights.

Wade said, "This place is open at all times, but a membership cost at least two million dollars. A VIP membership like mine would cost five million." "It's great to be rich, isn't it," one of the girls mused in envy.

Wade said, "You're not members here, but you can come with me. There's a fee of ten thousand dollars per non- member, but don't you worry. I've got that covered." "Ten thousand dollars just to get in

here? That's crazy!" The girls made about a few thousand dollars each month, and dropping ten thousand dollars on a game of golf was far too much for them.

Reggie said smugly, "Don't worry, guys. Money is not a problem for Mister Lynch." The girls giggled away while Nancy and Wilbur exchanged glances.

Reggie was really buttering up to Wade, and Wade was letting all of that go to his head.

They settled on a spot on the course.

The caddy sprang into assistance, and Wade played a few rounds to enthusiastic applause from the girls.

Wade looked over at Wilbur. "Wanna

try?" "I don't know how to play." It was true that Wilbur had never even touched a golf club before.

Wade chuckled. "I take it you don't know much about golf at all, Mister Penn?" "Yes. This is my first time," Wilbur replied honestly.

Wade was nothing but smug, launching into a detailed explanation of the skills and rules of golf.

After he was done, Wade cast one final mocking glance at Wilbur before calling out to the three girls to teach them how to swing the golf club.
