Chapter 325 He understood at last that it was not just an ordinary gathering.

Wilbur sat down beside Nancy, glancing at Reggie. ""Mister Class President, I thought this was a classmates’ gathering. I don't think I know this man here. Was he in our class?" "Oh, the other classmates couldn't make it. This here is Mister Wade Lynch, from Youthful Travel Agency.

He happened to have the day off, so I invited him to come. Mister Lynch's travel agency has over ten branches nationwide. It's worth several hundred million dollars! I was lucky enough to be hired as the general manager of the Seechertown branch, so please don't

hesitate to hit me up if you're planning any vacations in the future." Reggie was showering him with praise: The other three classmates smiled joyously, chatting away with Mister Lynch.

Everyone else was just a regular white- collar worker, and a few hundred million dollars sounded like an astronomical sum to them.

Anyone would want to get to know someone like Wade.

Nancy could sense that something was off too and remained silent.novelbin

Wilbur scoffed. What a coincidence it was that the other classmates couldn't make it, but this Mister Lynch could.

It was so clear that Reggie was just

using the gathering as an excuse to hook the guy up with some pretty girls.

The realization made Wilbur quite disappointed in his class president, but he figured that it was best he remained silent on account of his classmates.

The food was served shortly after, and Reggie opened a bottle of wine to pour everyone a glass.

The other three girls were clearly fascinated with Wade and did not turn the drink down. However, Nancy refused the drink, saying that she did not drink.

Reggie did not push it and poured Wilbur a glass instead. "Wilbur, our Jast gathering ended in quite a mess.

| Are you alright?"

| "I'm fine. It was all sorted out | perfectly," Wilbur said with a smile.

Reggie sighed. "I'm sorry I didn't stay and help you, I was in a hurry to send a few of the ladies back. I'm glad everything's alright, though." Wilbur smiled, saying nothing. He could tell exactly what Reggie was up to.

Reggie fidgeted awkwardly. He had just left his old job to join Youthful Travel Agency and had won Wade over with his flowery words.

Reggie also knew that Wade enjoyed his fun with beautiful women but did not like going to clubs or hostess bars.

Upon realizing this, Reggie had considered asking Cindy Vega, his prettiest classmate from back then. L

Yet Cindy never picked up the phone.

Reggie tried asking around for her, but no one knew where she had gone.

With no other choice, he remembered Nancy and the rest.

The four ladies were no Cindy Vega but would suffice as company for Wade.

Reggie would have made it if Wade were to have his eye on one of the girls, and he would be doing the chosen girl a favor as well. Wade was filthy rich, so anyone would want to get with him.

Thus, Reggie had called the four girls up. Unexpectedly, Wilbur had shown up as well. On top of that, it was clear that Nancy had told him to come.

Aside from Cindy, Nancy was the

| prettiest girl there. | She also dressed rather well, charming and elegant.

Reggie saw that Wade had his eyes on Nancy as soon as she entered the room.

Why else would he sit down next to her? It seemed like, however, that Wilbur was in the way here.

Just then, Wade turned to look at Nancy. "Hello, gorgeous. Won't you have a drink?" "T don't drink, thank you." Nancy turned the offer down politely.

Wade barked out a laugh. "C'mon, beautiful. We're all just having fun here, don't be a wet blanket." "I said I don't drink," Nancy said firmly.

Wilbur smiled. Nancy was starting to look more and more like a leader now.
