Ding! The elevator halted on the first floor with a crisp sound, and Olivia stomped out while holdingThomas’ hand.
“What the hell! Look, what’s happening there?”
“No way?”

“Miss Pearson is actually holding hands with a man! Unbelievable. My heart is breaking, call anambulance!”
“I want all the information on that man in three minutes. I want to kill him! Damn it, how dare he holdhands with Miss Pearson!”

Ten minutes later, Olivia’s phone rang. The caller was the employee from Keyshire Property to whomshe had given instructions earlier. “Miss Pearson, everything has been arranged. The recentdevelopment of those five companies is going well. We have already reached out to several partnerswho had the intention to sign new contracts with those companies. Now that we have intervened, aslong as nothing unexpected happens, those businesses will be ours.”
“Good! Remember, it’s fine if we don’t make a profit out of this, but we have to snatch all their clientsaway from them! I want these five companies to disappear within Irieson forever!”
“Understood, Miss Pearson.”
Olivia had truly gone all out this time. Once a woman becomes determined, there would be no stoppingher. She provided some additional instructions over the phone. Finally, she hung up and checked thetime. It was dinner time, so she got up to cook. Although she didn’t have any appetite, she couldn’tpossibly allow Thomas to go hungry.
