Chapter 512

Chapter 512 I Will Seek Justice

At the private hospital.

With her guard up, Alva left home in the morning in a mask and sunglasses and headed to the private

hospital to visit Belinda.

Due to the incident at the wedding yesterday, many reporters were keeping close tabs on Alva. Hence,

she had been trying to keep a low profile.

Alva finally felt relieved when she entered the private hospital and discovered bodyguards were

guarding the entrance, without any reporters or suspicious individuals around.

She was certain that Colbert must have pressured the newspaper office, otherwise, such major news

would have been extensively reported and caused an uproar. Moreover, those reporters would naturally

not miss the chance to interview them now that Belinda was hospitalized.

After finding out which ward Belinda was in, Alva headed to the 22nd floor of the inpatient wing to see

her.

Standing outside the VIP ward with some health supplements and flowers, Alva knocked on the door

before pushing it open to enter.

"Madam Steele?"

The incident at the wedding happened too suddenly yesterday, and Belinda didn't see it coming at all.

As a result of her agitation, she fainted.

However, her condition improved significantly after resting for a night in the hospital.

As soon as she saw Alva, Belinda first asked about her pregnancy, which was the latter's main

concern. Belinda asked, "How is the baby?"

Alva was slightly taken aback. She was rather disappointed to hear Belinda's blatant question, even

though she knew her unborn child was the only thing Belinda was concerned about.

"Madam Steele, I... The baby is fine."novelbin

Alva was furious and ashamed at the mention of the child.

Her unborn child was so precious to her to the point that she let herself be humiliated, abused, and

violated by those people to keep them from taking it away.

There were a total of six people.

As they attacked her one after another for half an hour, she felt hopeless for the first time.

However, it didn't matter to her. She just treated it as a lesson learned.

Initially, she thought she could stay with Colbert as long as she endured the humiliation and kept the

child safe.

Naturally, Alva sent someone to investigate those people during this period, but no clues were found.

Moreover, she didn't dare attack Eudora for fear that the scandalous video would be exposed.

In the end...

The worst thing she feared eventually happened.

Alva put down her things, sat by the hospital bed, and burst into tears while saying, "Madam Steele, I

didn't expect... I didn't expect that she'd hate me so much."

"I know you feel aggrieved about this matter. Rest assured that as long as the child is still alive, I will

seek justice for you," Belinda said, leaning against the bed's headboard in a hospital gown and holding

Alva's hand to comfort her.

All the wedding arrangements were made by Eudora alone, so it seemed strange that the video was

played randomly. Alva wasn't sure if Eudora was the culprit.

Even though Belinda had Alzheimer's disease, her condition was usually good, and her symptoms

were rather mild.

"Madam Steele, is Colbert... not going to marry me?" Alva asked, clenching her teeth and weeping

incessantly.

"Give him some time, and give me some time as well. Don't worry, and I will never let your unborn child

lose its mother as soon as it is born."

Although Belinda sounded like she was comforting Alva, the latter sensed that her words carried a

deeper meaning.

If Colbert didn't marry her, the child would inevitably be taken away by the Steele family after it was

born.

Even though Colbert wasn't the child's biological father and she had never had any sexual relationship

with Colbert, she was disheartened and disappointed to hear Belinda's words.

"Thank you, Madam Steele... You are so kind."

She pretended to be submissive.
