Chapter 394 Special Milk
Eudora kept calling Colbert by his first name and showed him no respect. In fact, she was even a bit
arrogant.
Colton was shocked when he saw this.
Apparently, Colbert pampered Eudora pretty much.
And that was why Eudora dared to be so wilful in front of him.
Colton knew that only a few people in Kenison City would dare to call Colbert by his first name and
even call him a prodigal.
It was simply unbelievable.
Jervis kept staring at Eudora and Colbert meaningfully, and nobody could tell what he was thinking.
"Let's eat together."
Colbert asked Colton and Jervis to eat together, then went to the bathroom to freshen up.
After Colbert entered the bathroom, Colton immediately moved closer to Eudora. "Beauty, have you
always been so arrogant when you talk to Colbert?"
"Arrogant? How come? Colbert is indeed a prodigal, and I was just stating the facts."
While talking, Eudora sat cross-legged on the carpet, then opened a bowl of soup and started eating
with her head down. Obviously, she didn't want to wait for Colbert to eat together.
"Why didn't you wait for Colbert to eat together?"
Colton asked again.
"Why should I? What for? Waiting for him to feed me?"
Colton was speechless again.
It seemed that Eudora was indeed a conversation killer.
Colton didn't speak anymore and slowly approached Jervis. He touched Jervis' arm with his elbow,novelbin
then started to communicate with him by exchanging gazes.
"Damn. This girl is quite something."
"Yeah. I knew that long ago."
"You knew? Then why didn't you stop me? You could have saved my butt AND my dignity!"
"Huh. You deserved it."
"Get out of my sight!"
Although they didn't say a word, they understood each other perfectly.
After a while, Colbert came out after taking a shower and freshening up.
He looked at Jervis and Colton, who were sitting on the sofa, and then at Eudora, who was enjoying
her meal on the carpet.
He sat beside her as usual and put a glass of milk in front of Eudora. "Drink this."
"Okay."
Eudora picked up the warm milk, took a sip, then frowned. "Colbert, are you trying to poison me? It
tastes so weird!"
This glass of milk was as weird as the one that she had drunk the other day.
"It's the special milk of Felice Restaurant. It's worth 888 dollars per glass," Colbert said calmly.
"Seriously?"
Eudora was dumbfounded and looked at the milk in the glass in confusion. "Why? Is their cow made of
gold?"
While muttering, she raised her head and gulped down the milk until there was not even a drop left.
Eudora simply thought that milk was very expensive, but she didn't know that Colbert had actually
asked someone to put all the medicine that had been prescribed by the doctor into her milk.
Thus, this glass of milk was not that expensive at all.
After Eudora finished drinking the milk, a slight smile emerged on his stern face. When Colbert looked
up at his friends, he found them staring at him without blinking.
